Of course I am going to master Magneto and when I start whipping people with him, it’s going to alienate others who don’t want to use the god tiers. It’s an easy answer to say if I don’t like it, but to say that to someone like me that plays these type of games isn’t right.
I totally think it’s uncool when someone out of the clear blue can just add something negative to your rep, without you even knowing why. It does bother me and when I was a System Operator at MSN, I treat people with far better respect and don’t make people feel bad when they don’t agree with what I agree.
Because I say that Jesus is Lord, I don’t expect everyone to believe what I believe. Do I kick people out of my house because they feel differently or put this negative post on their avatar on my website? It’s not right, unless I diesrespected or said something evil to someone.
I would want to encourage people to discuss their views on my website, not put negative reps because they don’t agree with me.

yup the glitch is still there buddy, they only removed gamebreaking ones like gambits, every glitch that is used for competitive play is still there, like juggs or sents unblockabel for example.

I been playing these games since the 80s, I just matured up a bit so that’s why I feel that balancing would be great.
I am open minded in understanding that there are purist that like the game to be as original as possible, and I understand Capcom as a business in deciding to keep it as original as possible. They look to their fan base and if I was in their position, no matter how I feel about the game, I will respect the people that will be buying it.
One counter to God tiers, and that is ** VDO! ** But if they did chabge shit dont nerf the Gods just bring up the low tiers
Just a heads up, 1up’s GameNight featuring Virtual On and MvC2 starts in 17 mins.
That is a hard task indeed, even thought we do have a new variable of having online play so it’s very possible that some of these players can come up.
It’s hard though because the game been out for over 9 years now, and there have been people playing this game inside out. I know there are people who knows the true guts of this game, and even though I would consider myself a good player, a player like that scares me and I know I will have to train extra hard to beat someone like that.
Plus, right when this game came out, I played it for a bit, and that is right when I sold all of my video game systems and started giving it a break. I had the japanese import and all for the Dreamcast so there is a lot I missed.
It frustrated me when I went to a local arcade and tried to use my original MvC strategies, only to be blown out of the waters with another guy using Magneto, Sentinel, and Storm. LOL know matter how I tried to block those combos, It was just no way,
I feel a little confident now because I can practice with my HRAP3 modified and regain the arcade feel.

It’s been mentioned elsewhere that rebalancing/buffing/nerfing is evidently completely prohibited for this release. So your conversation is a great feature suggestion for the future, but at this point it’s probably pointless.
Probably the idea would be that if MvC2 redux succeeds, then we can talk about MvC2’ or MvC3. :tup:
Yeah, you won’t win Evo with Ryu/Shuma/Wolverine. However, you’ll probably be able to get some good games in with player matches against fellow low tier fans, and probably win a bunch of ranked matches against people of your same battle-point skill level - if you’re good with your team. If you’re mashing, yeah, you’ll lose, but you’ll always lose in any game like that.
