Couple of questions: what was the Gambit glitch that they said that they removed? Also, I’ve seen the term “ROM infinite” or such being used a lot when I view MvC2 discussions and never found out what it meant. Could somebody please explain it? Thanks.
Gambit leaving the screen forever and forcing you to wait until time runs out was a glitch.
ROM is an infinite characterized by super jumping and performing 1-4 normals on the opponent on way up and then dashing down forward and performing another 2-4 normals on an opponent that is in the air (not too far from the ground). The common version is sj lk lk addf lk lk. Common Sent version is sj lk lk addf lk lp lk.
Im not trying to be a joykill or anything…I cant f’ing wait for this game and the demo could not come fast enough.
I just have one question…I just want to know how can they implement multiplayer into game that has no online whats so ever and manage to put quater matches but they cant do that for SFIV? I would prefer quater matches in SFIV than the new Champion Mode.

Never played MVC2, but that’s only because I wasn’t gonna spend $50 for a used copy at ebgames a year ago, glad I waited, I can already see myself getting beat on from here to Antartica if my MVC1 experience was any indication.
EDIT: LittleJimmy, what’s with the juvenile MK hate? UMK3 and MK2 are the only ones taken seriously, so quit beating a long dead horse, no flawless victory will be gained.

Or they could just cherry-pick CvS2 Ryu frames that coincide with MvC2 Ryu frames. I’m not saying it has to animate as smoothly.

Now, here’s something I’d like to see confirmed or denied: does the game feature custom BGMs, or just the turning off of music to use your own like other 360/PS3 games? If it’s the former, I’ve had plans to replace the MvC2 stock music with Megaman X4 music for some time. If it’s the latter, boo.

If this is being done by the HDR team, they’ll make it so disconnecting awards a loss, the way that SF4 should, but inexplicably doesn’t, a decision that too many of its fanboys defend for no reason fathomable by anyone with at least a double digit IQ.
