Article (third paragraph) is saying that there will be an option to play online in the demo, though I’m pretty sure it’s incorrect, now I kinda have some exceptions to see online in there for some odd reason :looney:

Yea it’s going to be pretty different, but I think it won’t be too hard getting used to. I heard somewhere that perfect 360 sticks could short out your xbox in time due to voltage issues, but not quite sure. Hmm, I wonder if they will release some kind of mvc2 sticks with some cool artwork.
You don’t need to know infinites to be good at that game. Do what I do. Play Megaman. You might never be god-pro status, but you’ll annoy the shit out of a lot of people.

Hopefully they allow custom team select. So you set up your team + assists and name it ___. Then you have that option to pick your team really fast.

I don’t think this can be stressed enough. I’m sure this game will sell boatloads. Even people who’ve never played it in arcades will buy it (like that Feb 2009 guy said a few pages ago) because, well, it’s an intense game with Marvel characters vs Capcom characters.
But the amount of “BS” in MvC2 makes any other video game look like checkers. I remember this being the case even back during the early arcade days when people were still waiting on Sentinel to get unlocked. Players would get absolutely steamrolled because of the team they chose lacked a good AA, pixie, or whatever. So for these players to play against people that have been playing for years? The “hey I remember that game” players will have horrible memories flood back, but even worse since they haven’t even seen real Magneto rushdown. The “never played that awesome-looking game” players will have an awful awakening when their Ryus and Wolvies can’t even deal with jump-back Cable with AA Doom assist.
I think the online population is going to plummet after about a month. If you wanna beat up on the people picking Team Shoto, best do it while you can.
