Quick question about the jump loop.
Is there any timing to it ?
Because i just can’t figure out why character sometimes fell out of the loop after the late j.M preventing me for doing the second j.mmh or even before that j.m. Most of the times, i’m just doing lmh6hs j.mmh, late j.m and they don’t even get hit by the j.m or do a backflip mid airimmediatly after being hit by it.

Pretty much any time you can Lv3 buster into :l: Raikousen in the corner, its a LL setup. There are others though, but those depend more on your assists, but yeah, Zero can get into his loop solo.

How much meter does that combo build?

From c.:l: it builds 1 whole meter, so c:m::h::f:+:h: doesn’t add much more, about 1.1meter

I’m very interested in seeing this combo since I use Zero/Doom/Wesker. Please finish your video and give us notation. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m still debating on assist to use for Doom with this team. Right now I’m leaning more towards Plasma Beam. What do you guys think about this?

question how do you guys do the self relaunch combo from full screen??? I was trying all last night since I saw your video but the buster makes the fly away too far is it a timing thing or does it only work on big characters??? maybe im just teleporting too slow but its frustrating me any advice would be appreciate it thx in advance…

It works on all 1.1m health chars and above there’s literally no point in doing it against someone that has less than a million health like Ammy when you can kill her with the other Doom/Dante combo I posted which is very hard to drop.

Basically as soon as you land from the first H Sentsuizan quickly dash forward than jump UF H Sentsuizan, soon as you land quickly dash again and :s:. or :f:+:h:,:s:

For this I’ve been used to joystick dashing :f::f: rather than any 2 attacks to dash, but if you do button dashes then it’s almost like plink the dash with S.
If they’re going too far it just means you didn’t dash then jump up forward before the OTG H Sentsuizan and you’re not dashing as soon as you hit the ground.

I have a couple of questions. First, whenever Zero does an air combo should I use all three hits of j.H? Also when doing the jump loop I have trouble landing the delayed j.M is there any advice anyone could give?

I looked at Zero’s sword to learn the timing of it. After the j.H he stops rotating, then his sword will be put away; that is when you press j.M. i.e. There is a little green after effect near the hilt of his sword, you can press j.M right when the green goes away. Hope this helps you as much as it helped me.

So currently trying to get Zero’s Lightening loop down. I’m sure it’s been discussed to exhaustion, but I couldn’t find exactly what I’m struggling with. Right now I’m doing:

This is where I can’t get the lightening loop to come out. My buster isn’t charged up to lvl3 at this point. What button do you guys use to charge this last buster, and when do you start charging it.

I use :H: to charge. I just can’t seems to remember right now if i begin to charge after or before the raikouzen but i think it’s before. You release the buster and immedialty charge it with another button, then do the raikouzen.
And it’s easier to always use :m: or :h: to charge it for the lightning loop since you don’t have to switch button for the seconde release if you go for the “lightning x3, buster, lv 3, lightning, ect…” loop and not only “lightning x infinite” one, wich i find harder to fully land.

As for my previous post concerning the jump loop, i kinda figured it out, i have to land the first j.m as quickly as possible and then end the combo slowly. I don’t seems to hit the jump loop consistently outside the corner though, Zero keep super jumping over the oponent.

I charge with L. If you actually hold the button down during Raikousen and the Sogenmu animation, it should be just enough time for the Lv.3 Bust. If not, do a small hop and you should have it.

My problem is landing it consistently. I can get it about 65% of the time if my opponent is on the P2 side , but if it’s the other way around I screw up and do the fake Sentsuizan half the time. Practice makes perfect.

Hi guys, I played at Winter Game Fest in San Diego this weekend and I saw a very skilled Zero player use EM Disruptor assist + Setsuizan as a combo extender. I thought this was impossible in Ultimate due to assist HSD so I was wondering if anyone could tell me the timing necessary to pull it off. Thanks!

Just found a combo that starts with 1 meter, ends in 1 meter, works mid-screen, starts from an air grab, and kills Thor.

Now important, on the bold part of the notations, the combo already reached around 1.1 mil or more, so if you killed the character before that, you’ll end up with 2 meters instead of one, which is amazing.

Later I’ll post a trick I found on how to the Zero :s: > j.:s: at the end of his combo easier and with which characters is easier (and why I think it’s easier).

Nini if you could make a vid or extend the Dante part would be much appreciated. The Dante part is really awkward for me, and I’ve gotten different results with it. Once testing the combo, I got Acid Rain x4, and once I got Acid Rain into the Hysteric (Air qcf.:h:) ground bounce to work. I think you can even get a wall bounce with HHH into the Stinger but again, it’s pretty awkward.

This used to happen to me a while ago, I think its important to first find a motion you can do reliably, then start doing TK L raikousens until you get to the other side of the screen then to the opposite side, if you miss, you start again. Thats how I trained myself to do it.

I finished experimenting with other teams and decided to come back to my vanilla team recently zero(ryuenjin), Dante(jam session), Magneto(disruptah). I was wondering what is the combo that everyone has been doing with jam session?

What is the Zero player using to get back to ground so quickly at :19 so he can relaunch with S?

Is it air qcb+L? If so, is this combo even possible at mid screen? When I try and teleport down at mid screen after MM level 3 buster, I can’t dash to my opponent and pop them back up in time.
