So just tried messing around with Steve for my Lili Anchor Team. Is Flicker Canceling Instant?? And can you do it from everything??

"Marn’s" combo isn’t optimal though. Well, “Everyone’s” combo is what it should be called, but I digress.
Instead of going for duck skyscraper into ducking body ducking blow flicker jab after the ex sonic fang, go for st. mp>LK ducking fox hunt>cr. MK>HP Sonic Fang. It does more damage (and imo looks cooler). Keep in mind that if you are planning on tagging in your partner with your combo then you must do “everyone’s” combo, because flicker jab causes a ground bounce for your partner to combo off of.
If you want more optimal, replace that st. mp with cl. :hp: and replace cr. :mk: with cr. :hp:
I don’t think you can connect those two and have the combo work. I will try it but I’m pretty sure it won’t work

That’s an awesome combo. Also I didn’t realise you could juggle so many times with the Cutting Elbow from Albion Stance, so nice find.
Are there any combos for Steve that end in a launcher or can be switch cancelled from?
Good hit confirm for a launcher would be crMP link crMPxx stHP xx Launcher, or crlp crlp chain into launch
f+MP-LP, flicker cancel into crHP into launch/or if you want it easier flicker cancel into crlp HP launch
F+ LP-MP link into crMP then go into chain to launch
Go for any standard bnb ending with skyscraper, f+MP-LP, flicker LP then you can tag cancel and combo off the ground bounce, although in the corner steve can combo on his own.
His most damaging meterless combo into launch off jumpins or punishes would probably be
(Jumpin HK which can be omitted) close HP xx Flicker xx Crouch Cancel crHP into launch or crMP into stHP into launch
This is my own tech, but on your opponents wakeup you can do Peakaboo meaty LP and tag cancel that, peakaboo will beat throws by design, and since lp has armor it will beat out most reversals or crouch techs, it has a ton of hitstun that your partner can combo off too.
Edit: also you can tag cancel off steves command grab off ducking, which you can use to punish tag ins easily, with a lot of chars you can get a few HPs/HKs into a nice juggle too for decent damage, but its team dependent.
I posted that starting loop until your cutting elbows a few pages back but the interesting thing to me is flicker ex. jabs. Anyone know how the juggle properties work on it? I’ve been up to 42 hits of it alone (infinite meter training mode) and was able to land a cr. :hp: afterwards and I’ve gotten to 20 hits and they’ve dropped out. I ave a feeling there’s a sweet spot where it doesn’t add any juggle points.
I was made up this combo earlier for Steve’s simple midscreen switch cancel bnb, but I couldn’t get the last part to connect. I am not sure does it work or not, I think it should work but my execution is not that great hence I can not sure am I just too slow, so can anyone verify for me please. Anyway here it goes:
cr.hp xx Skyscraper, f.hp, lp, flicker cancel into cr.m xx Sonic Fang, switch cancel on the first hit into Xiaoyu, cr.hp xx stance cancel into Phoenix xx Phoenix Talon
I don’t know why, but cr. :h: into skyscraper, skyscraper, skyscraper, f :l:, flicker :l: is so gratifying, carries to corner nice too.
Anyone else having a terrible time linking cr.f/cr.s after ducking hook? Tips would be greatly appreciated. Also is there any difference between letting ducking hook auto cancel or doing it manually?
Is there a trick to being able to connect the third Skysraper? I can get two consistently, but can never get the third to hit. I use MK Ducking… is a specific strength neccessary?

MK Ducking is the same strength I use, you could technically use LK Ducking but you will be too far away for the finisher. If you are having trouble, you’re probably doing it too late. The timing isn’t strict, but you do have to churn it out really fast.
If you’re trying to do three of them after the initial grounded skyscraper, I don’t think that will work (although it may).
