I know I don’t update this thread every week anymore (honestly, it’s a lot of time updating on every forum and social media platform), but for those that just follow this thread, Summer Season wrapped up last week. You can catch all the most up-to-date info on It Was Tuesday at http://itwastuesday.com Tonight we start a new season, Back To School.
Come join us at 6PM in Phoenix Games at Concord, CA. Tournament starts at 7PM. $10 entry fee (5 to house, 5 to pot). Double Elimination, top 3 in the money. If we get less than 8, we go Round Robin and top 2 are in the money.
A new season means we restart our Ranking System, which means everyone goes into tonight with 0 rank points.
Also, Summer Season results! We’re starting a new season, Back To School, tonight. BUT, I just want to update everyone on how the ranks worked out this last season.

Last night was session 1 of 8 of It Was Tuesday’s Back-To-School season. Beesu may have taken the top spot, but everyone seems to be leveling up their game and becoming more of a threat.
Since it’s the first session, I get to combine both the results and current rankings spam into one post this week. 
Beesu is next week’s headhunter bonus. Knock him into losers OR out of the tournament and you earn 200 bonus Rank Points. Rank vs. Rank will also be active for those with more than 0 Rank Points this season.

It Was Tuesday’s Back-To-School season is officially over! Finals were held last night, and if you missed out … tough shit. No make ups.
First of all, thanks to everyone that has come out and supported this little weekly. We’re small, but we seem to push each other to improve, and most importantly we have fun. Big thanks to Phoenix Games specifically for providing PlayStation 4’s and hosting us. It Was Tuesday is lucky to have their support, which is much … much more than what may appear on the surface.

Results! We didn’t have enough numbers to run a double elimination format, so we went Round Robin. This allows for a lot more Rank Point swapping and manipulation, which made the top 3 very interesting.
But let’s start a bit lower in the rankings. Chicano Soul’s Laura took out my Urien, which earned Chicano Soul 120 of my Rank Points (fuck).
NO RESPECT (Charlie/Nash) continued his beast mode climb for the top spots by defeating Beesu (Karin), and swiping 80 Rank Points.
Beesu made those Rank Points back, however, by defeating this week’s headhunter target, Pikie (M.Bison/Dictator) twice! Once in regular play, and once in a tie breaker for 1st and 2nd place. This means Beesu took 80 of Pikie’s Rank Points, twice (160), AND the 200 bonus headhunter points (400), for a total of 460 extra Rank Points! This definitely altered who would wind up 1st and 2nd in the overall rank for the season.

Just a reminder that there is no It Was Tuesday tomorrow night. We are taking Thanksgiving week off to spend time with our families, play SNES Super Street Fighter II, and down lumpia n’ beer.
You can still show up to Phoenix Games-Concord (by all means, support them, since they support us), but it better be to buy games, play pinball, or get your Hyper Fighting on.
