I dunno if you guys are keeping up with Tenboss’ weird-ass Morrigan/Nova/Strange team, but there’s definitely some interesting stuff popping up. This is mainly a (crazy cool) Morrigan sj height conversion, but the midscreen Nova TAC is pretty cool too. Interesting DHC synergy as well.
I always love seeing Super Jump conversions…it’s so cool to see how people find creative ways to get people down to the floor to get the launch and stuff.
what are the combos you guys usually do when the opponent is caught juggling on the H shield? I find myself in that situation sometimes and I’m always unable to convert…
S super jump w/e I’m im the mood for lmao. Something like j.LMH j.LMH land S super jump j.MMHS probably works. If not, omit 1 rep from the beginning or just do j.HS at the end.
Jump loop is fine, or just wait, confirm with s.M and launch. I’ve done some stupid semi-unintentional confirms with the javelin before haha.

Is it possible to do a re-launch combo? I’m fairly sure that a simple magic series into flight combo will always work, but I’m not too sure about a relaunch.
If you do raw S YOU MIGHT be able to do H loops.

Is that correct? I can do it occasionally but usually drop it after landing and doing jump M then they flip out before the jH lands. What am I doing wrong? Ive tried fast ive tried it slow im not fumbling or mashing it just only seemsto work very randomly.
I can kind of visualize that but this one throws me off at “Air dash down fwd”. All you need for Nova infinite (non-unfly glitch) is:
Down TAC ~ qcb L ~ **j.LH xx fly ~ j.H xx qcb L ~ ADD ~ j.LLMH (or LMMH. LLMH works a little easier on some characters) xx qcb L ~ j.H hold up **
I believe the version with the unfly gitch is LMH qcb S+H after ADD to end the loop

Right now I’m working on a team, Nova(Cent rush)/Frank(Shopping Cart)/Doom(Plasma Beam) and I’m having trouble really coming up with great combos for Nova on point using these assists. Anyone have any suggestions or links to videos that could help? Also, missiles or plasma beam on Doom?
The one dougiie posted is pretty good. Another one is f+H+call jam session, st.H, st.S, SJC, Cent Rush M, Cent Rush H. but its kinda tricky because of the SJC. You can replace the st.H, st.S sequence with st.M, st.M, Cent rush instead.
Nice team. Plasma Beam is the right answer. It’s better for both Frank and Nova. Nova with Doom is pretty godlike. The standard hit confirms work with Plasma Beam and shopping cart assist so just learn the H fly loops.

Blipples: The main Plasma Beam extension is, after a hard knockdown from j.S, Nova Slam (f.H otg), call Doom, delayed s.H xx Cent Rush M, Cent Rush H xx Super Nova. You can still DHC to Frank for levels. As for Shopping Cart extensions, don’t bother, if your combo starts with Shopping Cart that’s great, you’ll get some extra hits. If not, save the assist slot so you can do extra pictures with Nova’s assist later.
Side note: At FRB the other day, I did the full infinite on KillerKai’s Taskmaster and about 12 reps in he was like “wow, that looks pretty difficult!” I just kept my mouth shut and pretended he was right.

Speed Tackle: a well timed L, M, H, S, jump, M, M, H, fly, L, M, H, S, f+H, S, jump, H, Nova force

For L/M anyway. Off the shield, it really depends on where you are, but you can generally box dash H, land s.H, S to combo, or just s.MS or raw S up close.
Something related to speed tackle: you guys ever been auto-corrected while changing direction? This has happened to me a few times but I only just realized it now.
Example: I’m in the corner, my opponent is pretty close, I’m at jump height they’re at super jump height. I do Speed Tackle to get out under them, press atk+down-forward, Speed Tackle goes down-back into the corner. I guess I pressed the button at the wrong time (the wrong frame???), but it seems like a weird thing to autocorrect lol.

I noticed we rock the same main team (Nova\Dr. Doom\Amaterasu). I’ve been experimenting with the team for quite a while, and though I do believe I’ve got a pretty solid and dependable foundation, I was just wondering if you may have had any tips and tricks to step my game up. Really, I’m curious about solid extensions with either Doom or Ammy to grind out more damage than the standard 765,800 (without DHC).
Furthermore, I’d like to know what are the most optimal setups for the Doom rawtag?

After j.S, you can end your combo with
f+H, call Ammy, cr.M, H, Cent Rush M, Cent Rush H, Super Nova
I’ve been thinking of ending my combos with a snapback if they don’t kill. This just gives me some advantage over them. Something I just saw in the tier thread.
You can do Doom raw tags off a Nova air throw.

I’ve been hitting the lab and playing with locals a ton lately and this team is really coming together. For those who didn’t see before, I’m running Nova/Frank/Doom. I’m having a bit of trouble squeezing out much damage though, Nova seems to cap out at about 700k before I DHC into Frank to level him up and tag on about an extra 100k. My main problem is building meter with Nova. Right now my standard combo with Nova is:
s.lmhs, j.mms, qcb.S, j.lmhs, f.h, call doom, late s.h, m.cent rush, h.cent rush, super, DHC into Frank, call Nova, snapshot, nova hits, qcf.m, back dash, snap shot
builds roughly 1.8 bars, roughly 750k (depending on how many hits of plasma beam I get), and level 5 Frank
I can squeeze an extra qcf.m with frank in at the end, but that only nets me level 4 Frank, and 800k (still not enough bar to super). If I could find a way to make Nova build just a bit more meter in the combo to get a super off with Frank at then end it would be SICK! You Nova experts have any suggestions?
