End it in cr.H always. cr.H pushes you away from the opponent and makes your attacks much more difficult to punish. It also conditions them to blocking low twice. Once they’re conditioned you can go for ground throws after your cr.B since that puts you into the perfect distance. Then if they’re scared of getting thrown they’re going to try to mash throw, which then you can chain your cr.B to cr.H, and confirm off of that since it’ll beat their throw attempt. It’s another mixup most Nova’s should be going for. You can also cancel your attacks into fly and do j.H, and j.L right before you land for a quick double overhead.
Also, if you have some red life, you can cancel cr.B into st.H then cancel st.H a little late into Gravemetric Pulse L. lvl2 Grav Pulse L lets you connect a cr.b on hit, while lvl 3 Grav Pulse L staggers them so you can easily hit confirm pretty much anything.
Last, if you have assists available, the best option is to cancel your hit confirms into, call assist + either cent rush L or M to continue the pressure. It combats advancing guard and puts you right back into their face. Also, they have to react to either blocking high or low, it punishes anyone mashing attacks, and lets you easily mixup again.
It’s easier to do it early, but my advice is to input the entire motions at a moderate pace, since you actually have a good amount of time to link the next :h:
In the middle when you’re calling drones and juggling, use energy javelin for the ground bounce you caused with M C. Rush in your video. Then in the end when you call Magneto, do the M C. Rush instead of H for a forced ground bounce. Also end the combo with L C. Rush or his fireball (same damage and the fireball comes out faster/spacing and/or timing doesn’t matter…the Centurian Rush is just cuter to look at) because when you super off of an H. Centurian Rush, you won’t be able to DHC into any of those characters from so high for decent damage. Basically the logic I USE when making Nova combos is use his javelin first for the ground bounce you’re suppose to have and then use M. C.rush for a forced bounce.
No problem at all. Did you try it yet? I’m not 1OO% sure if it will work It’s all theory but you should be fine. Also, don’t be afraid to try and stick in some normals. ALSO !! i just remembered something…try switching the order you use your assists! I’m going to take this team into the lab and see if i can work my magic lol. check out this lil combo video i made with NSS…it might give u ideas since Magneto assist and Spencer assist have similar effects.
AHH yeah i had the same problem. The problem is the first hit of the javelin is knocking them out the combo. Try dashing back and cancelling the dash with the javelin (it’s nothing fancy…literally just dash then javelin right after). All of this is one big experiment so i don’t expect too much to work just because I think it would.
At this point what’s the optimum TAC Combo I should be learning with Nova??I’m sure there’s something in here somewhere so thanx and sorry ahead of time…just not tryna fish thru 12-13 pages of stuff to hopefully find notations for a good TAC
