Issues with mounting a Warcraft 3 image

I have never had a problem mounting CD images before Warcraft 3 - The Frozen Throne. It just refuses to work for some reason. I’ve tried both Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120% and they both don’t work.

I found a no-cd crack, but now I can’t play on battle.net.

What’s the deal? Is this a problem specific to WC3? I installed the game with legit copies of both Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne, so I should be able to get onto bnet with the no-cd crack, but I can’t.

I guess this is a double problem. Why do I have a problem with mounting the image, and why can’t I get onto bnet with the crack?

Ummmm… are all of the emulation settings on in Daemon tools? Did you try google for any of thes questions? Wanna go spend $$$ on a battle chest for
WC3?

the cd has some kind of copy protection. it could be your drive or your emulation settings. maybe one of these two threads can help:

Mine always works fine for me. I made a securom .iso image with alcohol and then mounted with d-tools. For daemon tools I used default settings.
