hey frankie…these guys want to give you shit, fuck em. i do illustration too, and if i goofed like that i would want someone to point it out. i’m sure the artist would just kind of laugh, and at no point did i think you were crapping on the book. you pointed out a mistake that would have gone unnoticed by me, but little things like this add charm to the book as far as i’m concerned. it really doesn’t take away from the art at all…
hell gi joe figures defining mark was a mistake…look at any gi joe figure (the 12 inche ones) the thumb nail of the (right i think) hand is n the inside…this was a mistake that became a gi joe trademark…mistakes can be fun…look at episode 4 a new hope…after vader kills obi wan as luke shoots the blast door, vader is holding a metal rod…they forgot to color the “saber” red…and a storm trooper hits his head on a blast door in the same movie…these things become gems that true fans enjoy…back off of frankie guys!!!

you need to chillaxe. he’s just stating an error in hopes that in future issues the mistake won’t be repeated. people on these forums mention typos so what’s wrong with him mentioning a backward foot which is a pretty BIG mistake if you ask me,but i won’t go into that.
I didn’t even notice the foot until Frankie mentioned it. I don’t know why people are jumping all over him for…I think they just hate Frankie because of his site.
Even though Fighters’ Generation doesn’t have the most accurate data, people most likely go there for the sprites and for the artwork. Based on those facts alone, the site is unmatched. At least that’s what got me hooked on the site. It even helped inspire me to make my own sprites based on various characters (see sig).
By the way, I noticed a typo in Cheap Shots, but I don’t want my head taken off like that dude Yanyu and Xiayu finished off…
Why all the Frankie cock riding? I used to not have an opinion on the guy either way until he posted that retarded thread in General Discussion. He got dumb and cocky, posting about how he had the best Duo Lon, and got into an argument with strongrr. He took a cheap shot at him, calling him a fag. That kind of shit isn’t tolerated on SRK, and I’m letting him know.

Out of all of the backstories that i’ve seen on the Street Fighter comic, this sidestory is the best so far along with the side story of Sagat and Ryus battle in #1 and Ken and Zangiefs battle in #3 in my opinion! ^^ Despite its small flaw, it still rocks. I didn’t quite realized it until Frankie pointed it out as well! As for issue #9 itself…sweet battle between Ryu and Adon (and a few laughs at Sakuras failed Hadouken attempt…luckily my favorite character will get her Hadouken down pat! ^^), and also nice little match with Fei Long and Chun Li as well! ^^
I was also surprised to see that Dee Jay was put under Shadaloos control…I read that there was a little mini comic that explained it and i’m trying to look for it. Anyone know where it is? ^^
Actually, there is ONE mistake that I think is a lot more relevent than a backwards foot.
Sagat didn’t develop the Tiger Uppercut until SF2 (or SFA3 at the earliest), and should not be using it to fight Adon. I know someone’s gonna say they’re the same move, but you know what? Sagat ditched the blow for a reason, and the uppercut’s an all-around stronger variation. Maybe you could simply replace the word “Uppercut” with “Blow?”
And Erik, I’m sorry if my asking about Poison annoyed you. I didn’t know it was asked to death already. Though SOME people tend to forget not everyone’s a veteran on this board. :bluu:
Yes, it is a mistake, but I’m glad it happened. The mistake means that it’ll be worth alot more now. To be honest, I didn’t even notice it until I read this thread.
