Just wondering, because I haven’t seen any mention of it. I went to bic camera today to see if they had it, but no luck. Quick google search didn’t turn up anything.
I highly doubt it. They are very strict when it comes to violence/blood/bones (yes bones, remember Death Knights from WoW:WotLK?) in video games. It might come out later if they modify the game to meet Japan’s laws but that may take a while

As if whether it is being released or not, no idea. It would be later down the road I would assume if at all, as it isn’t even out in Europe yet.
I don’t think it is. I know for a fact the last few weren’t even released in Japan. So I doubt this one will be. In general Japans never been a big fan of MK for many reasons.
The Japanese never really got much of an opportunity to be fans. The last game they got was Mortal Kombat II on Playstation, an exclusive port over there.
Midway and Acclaim pretty much just said “fuck it” by the time MK3 came out. Maybe WB will see things differently but by now there’s probably way too much water under the bridge for it to make much of a splash.
