Everybody’s offended by something. Ad agencies already have their hands full trying not to offend people in the country they sell their product to… why should they be bothered by America’s, or some random post-Soviet republic’s, stupid cultural hang-ups? If the commercial truly isn’t offensive in their region, they’ve done their job.
OTOH, if they were reaching out internationally (like when Team Spain did the slant-eyes picture in the Beijing Olympics), then they should pay attention to what they’re doing.

So i’m coming out of the chinese store, having just bought somechicken wings, that particular Chinese Store is half a block away from a KFC. So anyway there is a guy out side of the front door of the Chinese store selling whole watermelons. He was like you know what goes good with chicken? Watermelon. I FUCKING DIED.
My friend and I get in the car and i see the KFC and The idea of this guy moving his operation a half a block down had me in tears. Seriously, what would you do if you walked out of KFC with a bucket of chicken and a dude was outside trying to get people coming out of the KFC to buy watermelon to go with their chicken?
