Is there such a thing as a PS3 > PS2 converter?

And how is the lag?

No such thing

Used DS2 about $15

New DS3 $55.

Why would you even want such a thing?

because he wants to use TE stick on PS2 without modding it.

ebay…

Without modding? I can’t help.
Without soldering? Maybe I can help.

That’s what quick connect terminals are for:

Happy to answer questions, but please use the appropriate thread. This should be in the "absolute NOOBIE’ thread stickied at the top of the Tech Talk so feel free to post any followups there.

EDIT: Or maybe he did already…

Dude do you think it would works if I put PS2 PCB into TE and put the wire from PS2 PCD in the terminal strips without pulling out the original wire from TE PCB (I dunno which PCB is used in TE).

So I will have another wire (from PS2 PCB) coming out from the TE box for PS2.

Because I dont want to solder the original pcb that comes with the TE box. Soldering the PS2 pad is fine for me, I have plenty of unused/loose PS2 controller. I would rather to risk a PS2 PCB than original PCB.

Thanks in advance.

edit: hmm seems like TE terminal strips isnt a screw type more like plug type.

If the PS3 peripheral in question is a usb PC compatible peripheral, would there be some kind of adapter to allow a PC > PS2 conversion rather than PS3 > PS2? Then again, this idea might be crap, I don’t know much about this sort of thing.
