Yeah the problem with DB is that the fans have put way more thought into things than the original creator and anime production company ever did. It’s gonna be difficult to come up with much that someone hasn’t already thought of before. And just like with anything classic, it becomes cliche.

Long as it continues to be fun and entertaining, im not bothered by cliches & whatnot. Once it becomes a chore to sit through, its time to wrap that shit up.
All about execution, GT had some great ideas, but was implemented poorly for example

DBS: Broly comes out on DVD, Blu-Ray and Digitally April 16th.
DVD and Blu-Ray come with subbed and dubbed versions of the movie. Unfortunately this is not the case digitally. They’re sold separately digitally. 
The Dark Star Dragons Saga was my “favorite” arc in GT because the over arching theme was “no good deed goes unpunished” it was just told fucking horribly. Which is the over arching theme for GT.

And nobody believes them. They were already pitching new episodes of Super to partners last year. The Dragon Ball Super TV staff has been ghost for months.
I mean the ONLY things they really have to worry about in terms of delaying a new DB anime are replacing Bulma 's VA and figuring out a decent story. And given some of the shit they throw out for Super Heroes and the manga, this may all just be them seeing what tests favorably in terms of reception.
They already replaced Bulma’s VA. They did so during Super’s last arc.
I wonder how the digital release will be handled with the Blu-ray then. Best Buy has the steelbook pre-order showing that it comes with the digital release, but does not state which version.

If they follow the initial trend then we are gonna have broly movie in episodes so don’t expect much new story for the first 2 months even if they cut out Bardock/Frieza chapter. They may retcon a few things but the real arc should begin after Broly returns to his planet
If it means we get more of Cheelai than they can absolutely turn the broly movie into a series arc.

Yeah. It was painful seeing a 5 minute scene from battle of gods take 3 episodes in super.

Depends I think they handled vegeta giving beers hands better in TV version than movie.
