Is there a way to clear your Xbox Live ranking list? I’ve looked but it seems there’s no option thus I’ve decided to ask the boards. I had the unfortunate mishap of having my work week the week BlazBlue came out (I work 12s as well so…) and my friend raked up a bunch of points and levels on my XBL. That’s fine but I wish he had his own so I could do it. Not I’m looking at this scoreboard card with Bang on the picture wishing it was my character and my points I racked up.
I’m almost 100% sure that there is no way to do this to prevent abuse (i.e to prevent good players from resetting their scores for better win ratios). I feel your pain there, same thing happened to me in the dorms with Halo 2.
I’m pretty sure your only option is to make a new XBL account. If you were on PSN it wouldn’t be a big deal but on XBL you gotta pay for it.
Is it saved on the system or on a server? If so, you could always try deleting your save file.
My save file was corrupted and it erased all data except my online record. So it’s on a server.
rankings are always in a server, either provided by microsoft or the publisher. When capcom patch hd remix they reset it the servers.
Somehow I doubt your friend’s progress in 1 week will make much difference in the long run. Not to mention that the points/levels don’t mean an awful lot, considering the only ppl I’m losing to consistantly are those that had experience with the arcade ver regardless of what lvl they have on console. Someone with lvl 30+ and a win ratio under 50% is just a nub that’s spent a lotta time mashing.
21 and under 50% probably isn’t much better in my case. In my defense, I never got to play in the Arcade, so I’m still really new at this Doesn’t mean I mash though.
sf4 ranking file is local
Rankings don’t matter anyways, and like someone previously said - it was only one week worth of damage… Definitely nothing irreversible. Any other specific XBL questions should be asked in the XBL section from now on. Thanks.
