Is there a timing to block wake up DP and also tech wake up throw?

Pretty much what it says in the title haha. I’ve always been a defensive player and I don’t pressure too often on opponents wakeup but I recently started playing Yun and I’m wondering if there is a timing for that. I’ve been having trouble with it because getting thrown on wakeup after predicting DP is so depressing and it really gets me off my game when it happens. I’m having trouble figuring it out in training mode so I figured I’d ask here.

Also if anyone wants to hop on online training mode with me on PC to figure it out that would be cool as well because if this works I can block wake up DP, tech a throw or pressure with c.lk.

DPs and throws start in three frames. You have a 7 frame tech window after you get thrown. This means there are 4 frames during which you can input crouch tech in time to tech a throw but block a reversal dp.

Hm sounds tough but thanks a lot for the information I’m happy to find that out. Time to practice.

It’s not too difficult. You’d be surprised how precise you can be with enough practice. If you can regularly land your 1f/2f BnB’s it’ll feel easy to do a 3~4f timing.
