The “remastering” process involves cropping the 4:3 picture and zooming in for “widescreen” and messing with the colors. Nothing to do with the animation so don’t count on it.

Speaking of Season 4 Remastered, here’s hoping for ‘Battle Power Infinity’ and the rest of the Japanese music to make the English scene of Trunks going Super Saiyan way better!

Read a few of the last posts and I see some people complaining about the Japanese audio.
All I can do is sigh… Japanese audio > American audio
The American version did have a few good songs, but I just couldn’t help but prefer to hear the Japanese version instead.
Cha-la Head Cha-la and We Got Power are two of the best opening songs in an anime… EVER!!! Even if you only understand a few words in it.
On a side note, as if the Naruto dub wasn’t that bad already, I was glad they kept the original Japanese music.
So I watched some random clips of DGBT and it fails so damn hard…even the OG Jap version sucks as sometimes it doesn’t even seem/look like they where punched with enough force it’s like a freaking tap and they go flying…same with the ki blasts too they look like shit.
GT is basically officially sanctioned fan fiction. It has about as much merit compared to the original series as the Star Wars expanded universe novels do with the films.
WELL luckily I found an option to play the US audio on the dvd

Dragon Ball is action packed
and I think the US audio make it much more enjoyable.

Because Dragon Ball was originally much more than the simplified action show that it became in the States. The Japanese music is much more organic and dynamic. It captures so many more sides of the story. The American version is all fuzz, all loud, all the time.
Especially the dubbed DBZ movies…whoever thought it was a good idea to add Disturbed and Korn as BG music to the DBZ movies needs to be stomped.

But yeah GT just threw continuity right out the window. Gohan going Super Saiyan even after getting his hidden power awakened from the old kaioh to where he never had to go SS again.
Vegeta skipping past SS3 and somehow going to SS4 and yet he STILL isn’t as strong as Goku.

anyway, i find it disappointing that the ending to the series shit all over vegeta and gohan. what a horrible way to end!. did you guys notice that during some fights those two didnt even turn super saiyan against buu? example: when powered up gohan felt buu, he was normal the ENTIRE TIME, even after buu absorbed gotenks? UM HELLO, THAT WOULD BE A PRETTY GOOD TIME TO POWER UP DUMBASS! when goku ss3 fought buu, and vegeta stepped in, HE STAYED NORMAL, and said: “ITS NO USE, IM NO MATCH”
well of course not, he didnt even power up!
and yet when he did, kid buu still trashed him? yet when goku was super saiyan 2, he was able to hold his own against kid buu. and goku and vegeta were evenly matched during their duel. yet when vegeta finally turns ss2 against kid buu, he gets his ass kicked.
the toriyama fellow obviously didnt give a shit and just made shit up as he went along. goddamnit.
