I like DBZ Budokai 3, but be sure to check out the Budokai Tenkaichi series (known as Sparking! in Japan) as well.
Budokai 3 hands down the best DBZ game
Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is a really solid game. BT 3 Is setting up to be Budokai 3 but prettier and with more characters. King Vegeta anyone?
Wait, didnāt cartoon network whore the hell out of 3 particular movies?
I remember tree of might, dead zone, and 1 other being shown likeā¦ 20 times each within the course of a year and a half at one point.
Worldās Strongest was the other. Theyāre the first 3 DBZ movies.
What are some moments of Vegeta at his greatest?
I personally liked when he exploded the Bald Saiyan(Iām in class,so I canāt think of his name)
My favorite Vegeta moments were when he killed Kiwi and when he was running around Friezaās ship owning the crap out of everyone and causing a ruckus.
Who was Kiwi?
Or Cui, whatever you want to call him.
I remember now.
Namek Vegeta was the truth
Namek Vegeta was gangster as hell, rockin the one shoulder pauldron and the other blasted off IN A DBZ FLY BY!!!
DragonBAAAAAALLIN!
Uhā¦Nappa?
@ DBZ flyby
Cant think straight since Iām in class.
They see me flyināā¦
They blastināā¦
Iām outlasting cuz Iām a fuckinā super saiyan
King Kai Clanās album Enter the 36 Episodes just dropped last week. Itās a concept album that revolves around a single fight.
The gist is that Toei wanted to continue the series, so Toriyama was again āaskedā to do more comics. He basically told them that he was tired of doing Dragon Ball comics and that he didnāt care what they did anymore. Toei still got him involved by having him do the character designs, I guess in order to lend a little legitimacy to the project, but that was the extent of his involvement with GT.
Itās the same thing with the movies. Toriyama didnāt have much of anything to do with them. They were all stories produced by the studio, rather than Toriyama himself.
Nappa.
There are a few moments that really tell you something about Vegeta. There is a scene when Goku has just trashed his body while fighting Vegeta, and is lying at the bottom of a gorge. Gohan is with him, and Goku is limply reaching out to touch his hand. Suddenly, Vegeta just drops out of the sky and rams his knee right into Gokuās gut. There arenāt very many moments later on in the series that show it, but this moment reminds you of what a cruel asshole he really is.
The part where heās dying on Namek and tells Goku that Freeza deserves to die at the hands of a Saiyajin was great, too. I think that was about as humble as Vegeta should have gottenāin a moment of true desperation, he was willing to accept Goku as a fellow Saiyajin, rather than as a mere low-class warrior, but he still harbored his sense of pride and vengefulness.
That was true Vegeta. I remember being distinctly disappointed when he destroyed himself in an attempt to stop Buu, since the speech he gave felt a little out of character for him. He should have never gotten that emasculated.
I havenāt either. I loved the first 3 movies. Then I tried watched one where they put in Disturbed as the soundtrack and it was too gay for me and I couldnāt watch it. Havenāt seen any since.
For anyone that is interested, High Dream (the people that made the Capcom VS SNK figures) are making new DBZ toys it seems, and they look really good so far.
Unless Iām mistaken, all of the DVDs include the original Japanese soundtrack, so this isnāt much of a reason to not watch them.
Anyway, Brolly is nothing special. The movies arenāt canon and arenāt well-written at all. Theyāre just entertaining little side stories that you watch when you want to turn your brain off, and the production values are a bit higher than on the television series. If you absolutely must see Brolly, watch the first movie heās in, because it is at least watchable. The other two are awful.
I didnāt know wtf the 3rd Broli movie was supposed to be, they didnāt even properly explain his return from the sun.
