Piccolo was my favorite character from this series. Best. Namek. EVER. I mean, all the other characters were badass too, but Piccolo ftmfw. Saiyaman was boss.

So…Raging Blast is apparently the latest in the Tenkaichi series, apparently…so I guess I’d better buy Tenkaichi 3 to practice/learn on. Was Infinite World the latest Budokai?

Some things of note are:
0:27 Kid Buu now stretches his limbs to do normal punches
0:53 THAT’S A FAST ASS GRAB PICCOLO! Especially considering how long grabs were in the original…PLUS he still retains his reach. It doesn’t go into a canned damaging through and pulls them closer so you can possibly immediately do a melee combo aftewards.
2:34 Guldo has time freeze as his counter stance for when you hit him. And it also completely makes the opponent lose lock on on him. Oh boy…If you can do counter stances in the middle of block strings like in T3 that means that you’d probably have to be extra careful not to just mash all day on him depending on his damage output. It makes the opponent look incredibly dumb in the process though…lol.
3:12 Raditz does his own counter stance and he simply attacks back immediately…One thing to note from this is in comparison to T3 when did counters like that it blew the person back where as with this it looks as though you could go immediately into a melee string afterwards.
4:11 and 6:04 People who have played the Tenkaichi series know that there’s 2 different melee strings and the second one only activates after a certain numbers of hits in your combo. These 2 different sections demonstrated that you can now do the seprate attack strings at your choosing. Also looking at the different effects on the hits it looks like there’s going to be a light and a hard attack of sorts. Trunks punches and kicks didn’t have nearly as much effect or knock back as when he used the sword. Vegito demonstrated that as well in that section of the video.
6:12 That looked like a halfway powered charged melee punch that usually sends the opponent in one of the 5 directions…however since it didn’t it looks like he cancelled it and went into a melee string. Not sure of that. He does it a again a few seconds later.
7:39 It looks like Wolf fang fist is no longer a rush super at this point and it looks like it SUCKS…ASS. Not all the hits connect as any one hit in the combo has too much knockback. Maybe perhaps you can only use it after you’ve hit someone with that ‘pinned to the wall’ technique that’s been showing up in the trailers.

So what’s the general consensus on Raging Blast? I think it looks cool. I didnt like burst limit much. BT3 is the best imo.
^ It’s hard to tell right now for me…I’m both psyched and sceptic. The only vids they’ve showed recently have been the japanese guys messing around with the game.

do fighting gamers consider dbz games a legit fighter?
i tried getting into them but they suffer from the “anime game syndrome” waaaaaaay more than even Doujin fighters lol.
Also life bars seem wicked small in the RB.
Is Burst Limit worth 13 bucks?
Before anyone mentions it, I’m probably not getting Raging Blast this year. T6 is my last new purchase for the year. But I do love DBZ fighters, and, with the exception of Dragon Rush, which made me want to bang my head against a wall every time the CPU did it, I thought Budokai 3 was fantastic.
I’d take Tenkaichi’s fighting system over Budokai’s any day. I remember when I was so disappointed when I found out that Burst Limit was gonna be like Budokai. Don’t get me wrong, when I first got my hands on Budokai 3 it was the greatest game ever, and I still really like the Dragon Rush combos.
Tenkaichi feels so much more like actual DBZ, so I’m pretty pumped for Raging Blast.
You make it sound like you only purchase one new item a year. I understand if people aren’t all that into Video games, but why limit yourself to just one purchase if there are other great games that are worth the money coming out?
A. I don’t know yet if Raging Blast is going to be worth 60 dollars.
B. Money doesn’t grow on trees.
Seriously, T6 is the last new release of the year that really interests me anyway. Raging Blast might be good, but I can wait on it.

Blasts and rushes all look STUPID FAST regardless of your distance to the character or which blast it is. I suppose I’ll have to adjust to it. and it looks like you can’t get into an epic beam battle with spirit bombs :(.
xD at it coming out the same day as MW2. Im still gonna pick it up though. T6 is not a priority so many people around me will have it so it’ll be easy for me to go play.
