Gotta agree, DBMV is best read when waiting for more pages. When I first learned of it in this thread, there were well over 100 pages for me to read.

I was looking at my DBZ graphic novels and got to the part where Freeza does his thing and makes the planet have “5 minutes” before it explodes. I know the anime gets a lot of flack for having a lot of episodes go by, but it takes that planet forever to blow up in the manga as well! It doesn’t even blow up until the next book!

I forgot i had it, but i got lots of dbz tracks. Not sure if i got movie tracks though.
I used to love the hell out of dbz, still do, but as I watch it again now older I realize what pisses so many off about it. The 18 minutes of:
-People grunting like they are constipated
-People flying to get somewhere when they should have been there in 2 minutes
-Camera shifting back and forth at people and nobody says a damn thing
And then you get the 2 minutes of the episode that’s badass…

I’m hyped. I’ll definitely play it, how long I play it will depend on how fun it is though.
Best fight of the series was Piccolo vs Goku at the end of DB. If we’re talking just DBZ, all the stuff in the Saiyan saga was good.
That was indeed a dope fight. Took up a good chunk of vol. 16 of the graphic novel. Piccolo sure did change a lot as the series went on.
Friendship no Jutsu got to him.
It probably went something like this:
Toriyama: “This fight’s getting boring, I’ll give them another five minutes, that’s it.”
Writes Frieza’s dialogue, pages go to press
Editor: “This fight’s awesome, the kids love it! Make it last for another twenty pages!”

My hype for playing this died a bit as even though they were messing around with the mechanics you could take small things from it. I’m disappointed by 2 things that I’ve seen so far. 1 being why the hell do the beams look so skinny? Especially when we came from Tenkaichi 3 where I felt all of the blasts looked like they were supposed to…You can see Vegeta fire Galic Gun in the second vid at about 3:32. Then there’s the clashing that I think looks lackluster in comparison to T3. An example of that being 4:00. They’re small complaints but considering Burst Limit I really don’t want this to be another 1 step forward, 2 steps back deal.
Like every piccolo fight is a banger, because of his role in the series you really dont know who is going to win. My personal favorites is Pics vs. Android 17 and Pics vs. imperfect Cell
Piccolo vs Android 17 was one of the best fights in the entire series, oozed with dynamism.

It’s a shame he [and everyone but Goku, eventually] was cast aside to hype up Goku and the lesser Saiyans. He really did have some great fights. That fight at the end of DB had [media=youtube]8I2B_d8xNxg#t=05m44s"[/media] from any DB/Z fight ever.
Well the fact that Pics was a 2nd tier character actually made his scenes a lot more intense. Because he is not as strong as the sayains you know all the ill shit he did was calculated and based on logic (unlike the sayains who did a lot of their shit on raw emotion). He is almost like a green batman.
edit: I do wish that they would have done more with the Human characters, they pretty much became a liability after the Sayain saga.
