Apparently, the Dragon Box sets are getting a US release.
Since I only picked up the first set of the Season Sets, I may pick up the first set of this for comparison purposes, and decide where to go from there.
I’m excited, but I hope these don’t become super rare and limited edition because I just can’t buy them with my income at the moment.

This is part of the reason why I didn’t pick up the season sets in the first place (outside of having other things on my plate). I figured that, with all of the public outcry about the widescreen sets, Funi would eventually release a 4:3 version. I didn’t think it would be the Dragon Box footage, but I figured we would get something. I do wonder if they’ll do the same for DB and GT. It seems a bit less necessary for those, since the season sets for those series are 4:3, and I don’t think they could pay me to watch GT, even with Dragon Box footage.
I just finished watching Kamehameha vs Gallic Ho scene in Kai. It looks about the same as usual but I can tell they REALLY cleaned it up and they most have changed some of the coloring a bit on it. Was pretty nice.

can’t really make out too much from this gameplay save for saying it’s a prettier tenkaichi. Something I’ve noticed that I’m not digging is when they actualy throw the Big blasts I can’t really see them. I’m hoping that’s just because this is alpha state. I was a bit optimistic about this game but not I’m unsure. I think they’re about to pull a Burst Limit and do a 1 step forward, 2 steps back thing again.
I’ll stick to my 9 season boxset. All this stuff funimation is doing is bullshit. Guarantee two years from now or maybe even one year, they’re gonna announce DBZ on blu-ray.
First Kai now this Dragon Box business? Dang, it’s like DBZ is the Nintendo handheld. They just keep putting out a superior version. I’m not sure what to do now. I have 7 more box sets to go if I’m buying the remastered box sets, Kai, if it gets released here, and that Dragon Box. AGGGHHH!!!
See i’m not trippin too much off Kai cause you know they’re trimming a TON of filler stuff so the boxsets probably won’t be much.
