This really is a wonderful movie to watch. It’s been 15 years and while Mortal Kombat is the better movie, Street Fighter is just so much more enjoyable because of its everlasting shit appeal. It’s like Showgirls or Plan 9 or the 1960s Batman: so cheesy it’s good.
I will say this though, Raul Julia was legit great in this movie for what he had to work with…and I unironically love this quote:
