" Is That A New SPRITE? " Morrigan Thread

Morrigan can duck certain moves no other character but roll can. IMO VERY important.
She can duck Souki’s jab… and a bunch of other moves only roll can duck. Use this and punish with BnB. Every time you duck a move they don’t expect it’s 15Bil damage, it’s great.

Also… shakugan. Same shakugan that plays peach in melee? Never played you, just know you through Ken34.

Yeah its the same Shakugan. Ill look inot the moves Morrigan can duck under good find

Not that it matters now…but how come I don’t see any one using:

Dash in j.C,2B,2C,6C,SJ,j.AABB,JC,j.BB,214C

19,589 damage and 15 hits; The opponent gets knocked down. You land half screen from your opponent and you’ll on ground before they recover.

The last j.BB grants to strange situations:
-You put them in fast and you’ll only get 18.5 and 12hits; The opponent stays aerial will you fall while drilling missing the last 2-3 hits of it. You’ll both end up a full screen distance from each other in most cases
-Lag them a little from the first of j.BBs grants the perfect 15 hit result, while not putting in a jump cancel and still hitting for another me causes a whiff and grants a mix up. You can shadow blade.
-Cross overs can take place of the shell kick at the end.

I’ve been playing Morrigan/Roll lately and I was able to do 28.8k with Roll’s broom charged for the wall bounce and relaunch after I her in. The wall bounce relaunch gives enough time for Morrigan can be tagged in again, I got as much as 31k. 31 for one bar is pretty good to me, especially considering that I gained it back with the combo itself.

Also, on corner knockdown or even mid screen when you land this on characters with slow recovers, use a soul fist as an okizemi. 236A, in corner and 236B for mid screens. You can do it as soon as you both land and they will take the tail of it. You can dash in for a rep in the corner, midscreen you can dash in B for a blockstring and force a mix up in on them. You can just as easily soul fist and BBQ it to confirm your set up.
