Okay Tech did you do it with a team super or switch into supers because if not then how did you do it with Morrigan then? Or did you use an assist to help you because that may be another way but I am talking about solo combo. So please tell me how you did it without baroque then cause I dont believe you until I try out your way and it works.

Heres that corner combo you guys were talking about with the fireball to bbq airdash into super
Yeah that was it Shakugan but you can do more hits in the air combo then dash in corner. My suggestion is record that on a different level and do it with more hits. Ummm No Tech Romancer I looked at the page and saw nothing about a combo solo with Morrigan to connect lvl 1. The one Calibur Champ said does not work. The one in the corner WORKS! My other way that works anywhere but corners is a bit harder but does not connect all the missiles, just a couple hits like I think 6-10 or more maybe.
Okay ill record a better looking video. If you guys can give me some other combos ill make a tiny combo video.
Ill try to post some combos with Morrigan/Saki soon
Since i have the free time ill start working on some Chun/Morrigan stuff

Tech Romancer, the combos with Zero in the first video were… off…
First problem was when you knocked the opponent into the corner and combo’d. You could have charged his Buster during the 5C hit confirm and the 5C, 6C, P, 5C part would have been more than enough time to build to Lvl3 Charge Shot and then Launch (Hold C) --> sj.AABB, DJC, dj.BB (release C), 214A, 5B, 2B, 3C, sj.AABB, DJC, dj.BB, j.623C.
Also, don’t bother often with Zero’s Lvl3 Super, especially after all those 5Cs and 6Cs. Those moves prorate horribly >_<. Morrigan and Zero should hold onto meter for bursts, especially Zero.
And almost anytime you did a midscreen “…” 6C --> 623C you could have launched and then air combo --> j.623C for more damage.
What little I saw of Morrigan was alright, though.
No comment on the second video or Shakugan’s videos, since I don’t know enough about the point characters. I’m such a scrub.
I might post up some vids too for some critiquing, since everyone else is doing it.
Those fights were very one sided and i couldn’t tell a thing from watching them. Also you didnt use Morrigan that much
I must have upped the wrong vids, this morning; I could have sworn I had Morg on point for awhile in both. I’ll post later the ones I actually meant to.
But on the combos, its just for numbers sake; I know that midscreen air combo does a lot more than the loop I use, its really just to see how much I can go [showing off]. I know that Dark Hold is a waste, what happened in that vid is that I was still holding the 6 from 6C and I meant to 236+AA (VERY fast cancel) ~ Darkness Illusion. Dark Hold is a waste of meter in general.
I tend to win almost all the time when we do casuals down here for this game so you’ll have to deal with it, sry. As for you not telling me anything…well, I guess thanks for not telling me anything.
But yeah, I didn’t check my uploads this morning, those weren’t the ones I meant to post. I’ll edit my post in a bit.
Okay, updated with link. It wasn’t the one I was looking for tho; basically what I wanted to show was I was taking some points from watching some of Bill’s tourney matches and another single I saw with a Ryu player using Zero as an assist for combos. So using Baroque to cover blocked attacks and use the assist to bait while I went for a mix-up or if I hit, tried some interesting stuff like magic series to sweep, soul fist (otg) [call Zero], launch (maybe even 5C then launch).
Basically, I just kinda found Zero’s assist kinda useless up to this point and wanted to show what I was starting to work out with. Also I started messing around with her “alternate” launcher that is odd in that you double jump to combo off of it. I’ll record next week and try to pull it all together, but I’m starting to like this team, whereas before it was mainly “zero on point with Morg assist” even though I consider Morg a main and just kinda fuck around with Z. I guess since I’m taking this team srsly now too, I should use charge combos.
BTW, Zero_Gamer if you can post some matches that’d be great. Basically these forums seem kinda of dead until someone jumpstarts it with a post so the more the merrier.
Takes opportunity to revitalize thread.
Your opponent still doesn’t seem to be at the same level as you, but things I’ve noticed:
Don’t do a reversal Shoryu with Morrigan >.> Her Shoryu is kinda bad. There’s no hurry or guard break, so just push block and then try to regain momentum after the string.
The first combo you did, after landing Morrigan’s 5C went into 3C, SJ, j.AA (dj.BB? or no dj? idk) Shoryu. I assume the use of 3C (as opposed to the much stronger 2C, 6C) was a result of the feeling of urgency changing your action (I have that problem too when punishing…), but the air combo was inexcusable. j.AABB, dj. BB, j.236A is easier and stronger.
Against Tekkaman Blade, and most others, you’ll want to jump cancel all of your dashes so that you can move forward while blocking his insane punishes/zoning junk.
no 66, 8j.B pressure? Idk, I’m in love with this thing right now, so I might just be nitpicking right now. It’s got good pressure and you can do her Command Throw if the opponent is close enough and didn’t push block.
Halfway through, you did aircombo to Missiles, then Skittles with Zero. You could have done a Lvl 3 after Soul Fist, but I generally frown upon using so much meter, so you could have done aircombo, 236P, (Zero jumps in), j.AABB, dj.BB, j.623C. Uses only 1 bar, builds meter, and the higher in the air you are, the more damage your normals do.
With Zero, you should up your pressure game, since Tekkaman Blade and Joe the Condor have limited reversal options. Pretty much, everything is nearly free on hit/block, so shenanigans aplenty. After a blockstring -> 214C, j.236B will catch Tekkaman Blade out of anything in corner and then that’s a free Buster Loop.
Use Morrigan’s assist more often for coverage than combos, midscreen, because her projectile can absorb others or hit someone out of a normal and then you can just run on in and pressure. Zero thrives on pressure and doesn’t afraid of pushblocking, so you can actually have Morrigan assist, then do some stupid string that Zero has and Morrigan will be available again and do some more stupid stuff that Zero has.
Overall though, pretty decent vid. You just need to work on pressure and damage options.
Thanks; we’re gaming tomorrow so I’m gonna try to implement some new stuff then. Also, start doing the Zero charge combos.
Okay guys ECT (East Coast Throwdown) is 1 month away. What are all the things i should know with Morrigan?
You already know, just believe in yourself.
Scratch that; believe in me. Believe in the me that believes in you! Yours is the j.214C that shall dig through the heavens!

New Video
I have a few things to share that i have learned.
-
Morrigan to me is best played defensively. Playing at a local I just had for TvC I’ve learned that if people like to airdash towards you just stay on the ground and 3c since you cant block in a dash animation. I found it so much easier to just get the health lead and have them come to play or get the health lead and play a zoning game. Litter the screen with soul fist and call assist when the get close (Chun Li/Morrigan).
-
If you do 2c into 6c it does more damage than the normal 3c launch.
-
If you seen from my videos if you dash you can land j.B j.C or j.B j.B or j.A J.C ETC.
-
Also the Morrigan assist is pure rape. You can not normal jump over over the fire ball meaning pressure.
-
Morrigan has pretty decent health so thats a good thing.
-
Darkness Illusion combos off of almost eveything its mad silly. 5b Darkness Illusion, 6b Darkness Illusion (In corner only), Fireball BBQ Darkness Illusion. ETC.
-
Morrigan works well with almost all the assists.
-
As of now i only know you can do do dash j.b off the Chun Li assist into 3c relaunch.
-
I think Morrigan is a High-Mid or Low-High character.
Check out my new Video.
