Is Sakura Ganbaru! considered canon?

I ask this because I was playing through Alpha 3 with Ken today and his pre-fight convos with Karin and Sakura both reference fights that happened in that manga.

Sakura’s you could at least chalk up to Alpha 2, but Karin didn’t exist before Sakura Ganbaru.

(And of course, if Sakura Ganbaru was canon, then the SFA manga was canon too since Ryu saving Sakura from Bison was clearly referenced in SG! vol. 2.)

Then again, what is canon anymore?

I don’t think even Capcom cares by now…

No SF manga as a whole is canon anymore. The only one that used to be was Capcom’s SF1 manga story.
