the new Kaillera team announced a big, big update 2 weeks ago

Kaillera v1.0 is on its way, folks. The anticipation is growing…

I got a reply from the creator of kaillera back in Oct 22nd:
“Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately this version will not include a P2P functionality. we improved the regional servers method and the long run development will solve all connection problems.”
He also stated that this client fix up some desynch issues as well.
Keep your fingers crossed.

p2p could be easily added to it by 0746 in his client 
The site is back up. No update, unfortunately (not yet, anyway) 
That guy has the original kaillera source and yet he’s managed to produce nothing over almost 8 months. Not to mention he already postponed his release date twice. Until he releases something meaningful, its safe to say you’d be growing old waiting for his updates.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t even have any work to show.
