Is it still worth it to change from ps3 to xbox?

So yesterday I came back from my first tournament (Sonic Boom Tournament). I didn’t inted to make it far, just to have a great time overall (which I did) but after seeing how everything is I really want to improve and meaby reach the brackets and out of pools. I can’t show you guys how I played my matches because they weren’t recorded, but I know exactly what was my biggest mistake, the timing. I don’t have any execution issues, but that time was my first time ever playing on xbox and man it feels different from ps3. I found myself failing even the easiest combos just because that, that made me scared of doing punishes and thus I let my opponent get away with things they aren’t supposed to, so they can spam them and I can’t do anything about it because of the fear of failing the punish and eating a shoryu.
So I think that if I want to improve I’ll have to get used to the xbox timing, the question is if it’s still worth it to buy Ultra for the xbox and a xbox stick (or meaby a ps3 to xbox adaptor? are they good?), wait for the ps4 version and buy the game there along with a stick (I guess sony/capcom won’t allow to play with a ps3 stick) or just stick to ps3 and buy nothing? Right now money is not a big issue (although I can’t afford a good enough computer for pc ultra) but I’d like to know your opinion guys

Just get USFIV for PS4 and get a new stick. Most of the new sticks are cross compatible with PS3 and PS4 so all your old FGs will work fine. An adapter would also be nice to get if you are wanna get into tourneys before the PS4 edition releases.

I can’t comment on PS3 to Xbox as I only ever played on PC and Xbox360 but, I just tried playing Ultra on my 37 inch flat screen tv and the input lag was real. I could not do any 1-frame combos consistently at all. I normally play on my 144hz Asus monitor and am able to do Rose’s 1-frame link combos easily without any problems.

So I think the TV/Monitor you are using also is a huge factor. I’m seriously about to sell my tv and see about getting a better one now after that.

I’ve played ultra on both systems, may have been the akishop pcb I use but didn’t notice any timing issues.
