I can’t seem to do it fast enough.
I’m sure it’s possible, but very hard. there’s just nothing fluid about using the arrow keys. You ever play any fighting game on pc using keyboard? It’s just wrong. hard enough trying to get a shoryuken out.
It’s really easy… Take a look at this video

You can do it, it just takes practice
Practice leads to muscle memory which leads to combos being completed
dude if hes playing online ppl are going to know hes doing a shoryuken look at the video that player was tbagging like crazy
But the point of me showing you that video is to show that keyboard has alot of potential.
I don’t agree that it shows potential.
If you hold down and keep tapping forward then press punch every now and then, due to the d/f d/f shortcut for shoryukens its going to come out really easily, nothing difficult or impressive about that.
That is one of the worst videos I have ever seen on SRK
:lame:
Of course you can do simple normals, the question is if you you can pull offcomplicated combos. If you see potential in that you probably never entered an online match.
Learn2read, SRK.
What it seems like is happening is he’s trying to rush it. You need to time it, it’s not the fastest combo in the game, you need to allow a bit of time for Fuerte to run up before the next Stop, Fierce. A more accurate way to say Run Stop Fierce would be Run, Wait, Stop, Fierce. Or at least allow the run to actually come out. Watch some Run Stop Fierces on youtube to get an idea for the timing, or just practice it. The only speed part really comes from pressing Stop, Fierce at just the right timing. Too fast and the fierce won’t come out, too slow and it won’t combo.
What’s up SRK. Dis is ya boy B to the RAiNZ presentin my new vid:
I have that Lycosa Keyboard too, it rocks!
Shit’s easy. Keyboard is the easiest way to play fightin’ games.
I agree. Keyboard would be better than the stick if it were not for the difficult of using three-sixty motions.
Can you somehow play sf iv with a mouse? That would be hilarious to see.
in SF4 360’s are really easy on keyboard: b, f, d, u + p/k or f,b,d,u + p/k
Gief has so many prejump frames that is pretty hard to miss the timing and jump by accident.
that’s impossible since you don’t have pressed states on a mouse. you’d have to keep moving the mouse in a direction for the character to move. that’s why in FPS games you use keyboard for moving and mouse for looking around.
It’s like 6 posts above you. Why bother posting in a thread if you’re not going to read it first?
My bad I looked through very fast as I was on my way out of the house. Deleted the post and again thanks BRAiNZ for the great video.
Keyboard is no harder than a stick to use, only difference is you’re used to a stick.
Also people saying 360 motions on keyboard are hard - instead of using arrow keys line your keys up in a row, e.g. asdf - once you get your head round not having up above the other keys it helps out a lot, and 360’s become a case of just drumming your fingers.
