hmm. Its 2013, and people are STILL talking about 3rd strikes balance. Chances are if you bitch about the tier list you are not very good at the game and are part of the problem. Play the game, or do not. 3rd strike is not going to change. Play and love it or do not and play something else that is it.
Btw, Twelve is hard to begin with?
I’d say Twelve is easy to use (for the most part) just extremely difficult to actually win with.
Also, Alex’s stHP kinda’ beats Chun’s Fierce.
not in the way twelve’s far strong does.
his fierce can win, but only during startup really, so it’s nothing notable, same goes for basically everything.
as for twelve. i think he’s awesome, but he’s also just bad.
That’s why I said “kinda”
Nah, Genie Jin is easy to master. Easiest part of the game probably.
Geneijin itself is just dependent on your execution. After that, it’s up to you to be able to either combo into it, or decide when to activate. Whether or not that’s easy as well will depend on who you’re fighting.
Chun/Ken/Makoto/Twins etc etc are free.
stop sucking.
step it up and be a man, pick Gouki.
The top genei Jin players know the exact situation to use the right combo with the right ender to gain the most damage/meter. Sure it’s easy to do 123 shoulder into default combo but good luck getting a successful 123 geneijin vs someone good.
The hardest part of being sick with Yun is mastering raigeki aka dive kicks.
What exactly are you trying to say?
He’s not going to reply.
I am saying that why is this still a subject.
oh hey you guys he proved me wrong
he must be good at 3s
everyone should reply to his post
I have no doubt in my mind that my own personal tier list will change by the end of my final semester here in Tokyo.
Playing around 5-6 days a week at weeklies & tournaments, player skill is so high here it blows my mind sometimes at what certain “low” or “mid-tier” characters can do. Wish you all could come to Tokyo and see first hand why I love this game so much. I feel fortunate when getting bodied by players like YSB (HU), TM (Q), Sugiyama (NE), Atsushi (IB), Higa (IB), Kazuya (AL), Yamazaki (12), Koro (OR) etc. This game is way more balanced than people realize and it’s because of the system and years of dedication that goes into making great players maximize their respective characters potential.
Again, this is just my opinion. 3rd Strike is the best fighting game ever made.
Hi, you must be new… Mak’s command grab is within range of Hugo’s command grab and Hugo’s is faster. Honestly, Mak Hugo is a fairer match up than most perceive and it really comes down to the caliber of the players. Post hayate mix-up is the most absurd mind fuck for both players in this match up because of all the variables that can occur.
karakusa>hugo normals
360>mak normals and karakusa
Jump back>360
Hugo srk> jump back
fukiage> hugo srk… There are dilemmas…
Edit: just noticed this post was 5 months old… But I really don’t care.
What did I miss in the lifetime of this thread? Page 7 is absolute shit…
