Is it me or is this game really that unbalanced

Only if hot nacho cheese and chips are involved.

Oro haired kid topic got locked quickly. (Repeat of his going around making the same topic) This one remains open.

America sucks. Not talking about budget travel or battops or whatever now either. Or the modding, you gotta do what you gotta do. Some mods might like them some 3s. And some people have calmed down, “yeah I regret all of that since even if I don’t like the game, hating on a scene isn’t cool”

But if he thinks SRK is only about arguments and trolling as he originally interjected himself in here… America sucks.

Dander you can check what date your XBL ends on one of those profile/subscription blades. Don’t find out too late like I did.

She’s the best animated and such King ever. Voice acted.

Intro animation with Sagat, but not even close to how good he is. Its a sad story of being included but being that weak. :frowning: She got over moe~'d for 13 with those spaghetti arms. Lady you’re in a genre where “NEXT TIME ILL BREAK YOUR ARMS”

I missed 2011
You missed 2012
Who will miss 2013?

It still surprizes me to see so many biased point of views about 3rd Strike Genei-Jin.

So, a nicely landed Genei-Jin becomes particularly irritating, while Makoto can both combo and stun you with SAII and finish the match super fast. Chun-Li without SAII is almost harmless.
Like Yun, she lacks damage without meter.Plus, her ex moves are not that scary. I do not read any complaint about these chars, even though they have all the tools to own an opponent instantly.

Learn to read the Yun player’s game and benefit from the fact the he has no good reversals and he has the 2nd lowest health bar in the game. Not to mention, his dive kick and lunge punch are both punishable on parry or guard.

If you were careless and a fat combo has landed on you, you truly deserved it. Same thing applies for the other chars, ex.Dudley, Makoto, etc.

This is 3rd Strike. It’s a good game.

hey so are we like the SRK philosophy department?

It’s Dandescartes. I like it.

This is the 3s forum, who the hell is Diago? Oh…
My man “Diago” winnin that CFJ SBO :smokin:

He lost, though. Mango and Taquitos took it, the former OCVed Diago’s team.

I hate that when someone play a broken character and don’t admit it. Tell me where is Yun on the tier list please, tell me what are his matchups?

Chun is still very dangerous without meter, broken pokes, amazing kara throw etc… her footsies just outplay 99% of the cast.

I don’t know much about Mak, but her one hit = one kill is seriously broken i think.

Yun is still dumb as fuck, what i’m supposed to do when you have your genei after what? 10-15 seconds on a round, run away, back dash, parrying?? There is nothing to do man, just block and undergo like a victim. And post Genei, it’s almost pretty hard, because that chinese bitch have me in the corner, and make his meter for a second… Genei !!! What a depressing matchup seriously.

Yun is OP, Genei is OP, admit it, period.

twelve owns chun back fierce and roundhouse.
completely.

top tier.

Elena’s down toward roundhouse beats Chun’s back fierce and stand fierce, top tier too??

i’d bet the overwhelming majority of low kicks in the game beat her back fierce and fierce.

twelve beats it with far strong. im pretty sure its the best counterpoke for that move in the game. and twelve has it lol

http://ensabahnur.free.fr/BastonNew/hitboxesDisplay.php?sMode=f&iChar=19&sMoveType=fd_normals&sAction=w&iMove=3

Odd normal, the hitbox go far ahead and is skinny, Twelve is really surprising.

If you lose to chun or yun blame yourself. Don’t let them get meter, block Genei Jin, don’t get tagged by low forward by chun. If the chun can’t kara throw what are you worried about? And that’s like 95% of chuns already. Neither character is broken. Complaining is not useful.

yeah he also takes a very big step forward which gives the move extremely good range. just need to space it right to avoid low stuff also.
also his low short goes under her back fierce, over her low forward and under her low jab.

If he is so broken, why a noob or a fairly decent player gets demolished as soon as he picks him up? You see, his Genei-Jin fails or his set up is easy to figure out. You dislike being beaten so much by a good Yun, that you fail to see any background of this outcome. There is more to your defeat than meets the eye. Again, you are being biased.

If she only pokes or kara throw you, are you gonna stay there and watch it happen? She will need way too many footsies to win a match due to almost decent damage output. She needs the super art II. Not to mention how deadly, 2 full bars can become. She can build meter with her Back-HP just as good as Yun, mind you.

You are not really familiar with the game, right? Thought so.

He is OP in the right hands. Just like Makoto and Urien. Yet, you don’t mention any frustration from other characters at all.
Why do you play against Yun players if it hurts you so much?

It’s pretty unbalanced. Chun-Li and Yun kind of dominate everyone, Makoto is bonkers and Ken makes the other shotos feel a little lackluster, but it is what it is.

But, you know what? The problem is that you shouldn’t be playing the game or a character because they’re balanced or not. You should be playing because you have fun learning it and playing it.

95% of Chuns and Yuns online are bad. That’s obvious but it needs to be said. We can talk about “Chun pokes dominate everyone” or “Genei Jin Yun rushing you all day” but show me people who can actually use these characters. I think on XBL there’s probably 5 or less Chuns who even know how to play the character. Everyone else is just back fiercing from full screen copying Justin Wong and hoping people will run into their pokes.

It’s this weird thing people have, where they talk about matchup charts that exist only at high level as if they apply at all at lower levels. When really they’re not at a level where anyone is using their character at 100%. So all they should be thinking about is “how can I improve and get better than these people” because nothing else even matters.

I’ve played a lot of Chuns on XBL over the last few months. Beat them in the Chun mirror, beat them with Ken, beat them with Makoto, beat them with Alex. And I’m not good. If I can do it, so can you. Just practice more, play more.

Great move. I always thought, who did he steal that from?!

yeah its one of my favorite moves in the game. along with most of his punches.
