With the exception of Sentinel canceling into hardrive the moment he comes out? Im sure Im not the first to discover this, but while messing around in training mode the other day I discovered that you can cancel Doom’s hidden missles Crossover counter into any of his other specials-Finger lasers, rocks, or plasma beam. You can cancel it at any time of your choosing during the missle firing.
Funny thing is that I discovered this by accident. I accidentally performed a crossover counter with Doom during a game with a friend, and Doom actually threw his opponent as soon as he entered. Thinking I had just discovered an awesome way to punish Zero’s forward H, I tried to go to training mode to replicate and…well this is what I discovered. I could never get the throw CC to work again, it was probably just one of those strange things that happens in Marvel occassionaly, like comboing somebody and then randomly getting hit mid combo when theres nothing there to hit you (which I’ve seen).
Anyways, is there any interesting, practical uses for this tech? Any other characters that can do this? Any other people to discover this before myself?
