Seems that everywhere I go everyone hates the shit outta Bison
Bunch of scrubs.
Hatred towards him is unwarranted. In SSF4, maybe. Not in AE. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still amazing but he lost qcf u2 and the damage nerf on stand heavy kick was totally unwarranted. Sk pushback w/e I guess it was stupid for some characters who didn’t have a frame 3 short or no meter, and even if they did they still risked counterhit/bad reads. SK pressure is far from dead though, top Bisons can still make it seem like he’s still in pre arcade form in that regard. Still lol yun. yang, fei… they’re far more frustrating to fight in this version than Bison.
Or maybe they are salty because he killed their fathers. I don’t know.

There does seem to be a lot of Bison hate. And maybe “hate” is a strong word. People hate Yun. And Fei. I don’t think Dic is at that level. Maybe it’s more … exasperation. Which I still find amusing. Some of it is simply because he’s a charge char, and charge char automatically means “ZOMG downback lame scrub l2 combo 'n stuff.”
But people who hate BIson don’t know how to block. And probably mash.

In my experience people hate on him because to the other player he is easy to use and is able to win by poking people to death. One time I got a funny bit of hatemail from an Akuma player I beat stating: “It must be nice being able to win without using a single combo”. Well yeah I can’t jump on you or cross you up his damn cr.hp and I wasn’t able to get close enough on the ground so ok I will just poke you to death.
This may be wrong but I thought some people think of Bison as an easy character to win with and that’s why then don’t like him
bison speed and footsie are top notch, and these two combine can make a lot of people frustrated… even top player have to eat them sometime…
and said his only weakness is anti air, one of my mentor (I said so cause he help some of frame knowledge and ideas on how to play bison)
said his anti air is actually variable and as his escape option: very specific and vary depend on angle/character/spacing, only character don’t have anti air is vega…
higher lv the player like godsgarden, bison is just another charge character with cheap move set in their point of view, and majority of player are? of course, like all of us, not pro… better the fundamental and stronger the mind set you have, less damage bison can deal…bison can only deal damage when you panic, if you don’t panic and don’t do stupid sht bison can mean no harm…

People don’t like Bison because they don’t know how to block correctly. Smart blocking kills Bison, for the most part.
He hasn’t really got a lot of hate after AE.

Easy character 
Bison is a scrub killer, thus generates a lot of online hate. Zangief is also in this category.
Actually its the other way around. Bison haters are scrubs who CAN Block and can’t get out.
I hate bison for sure. But thats because I play Hakan. Hakan gets locked down and can do nothing about it. Feels like a 10-0 matchup, worse than Yun/Yang. Also Bison is the most boring match ever in existence. Bison is one of the few characters who can lock you down for what seems like forever and scrubs and noobs alike aren’t really sure how to get out (I still have issues getting out even with other characters).
Bison is cheap.
I best with charge characters, so Bison’s cool in my book.:tup:
nah man, Bison haters piss their pants once I got them in my crouch light kick frame trap zone, they start mashing buttons and it’s a free ex psycho/ counter hit. They also start jumping and eat a stand heavy kick or yomi headstomp. They don’t block.
I always thought Chun li or Honda were one of the most hated. Or guile. I always get some hate from people at my fight nights scene since im the only bison here hahaha
