That is the million dollar question. All the bad assery must mean he’s fighting something Bad Ass! The last fight in IM2 left a lot to be desired.
I will be impressed after I see the movie. Kingsleys voice is pretty fucking boring btw. Stephen hawkings computer chair has a more commanding tone imo.
Yeah him and Rhodey fighting the drones was hype as hell but against Whiplash it was very anticlimatic.
At any rate, I figure him needing those suits has something to do with Mandarin and Extremis.

Well the scene where they put Tony ‘under’ on a hospital bed - makes me think they are doing some ‘butchered’ version of the Extremis virus…to increase his macro-ing skills. Maybe its just extra sensors or something.
Or he just steals the tech used against him in IM2 to pilot them… shrug

Is it me or did I see a human guy actually judo flip one of the armors??
I’m thinking those strapped in humans might be part some sort of super soldier project with a little hulk dna thrown in. That sure as hell would warrant the all-star Armor team.
Also it looks like tony actually jumps INTO one of the armors which is pretty damn cool. I can see him snap backing from one armor to another.
I’m not diggin’ the Mandarin’s Mr. Smith impersonation.
I hope the rings aren’t just ornamental.
