wow, Marvel is really spending crazy cash getting these cast members.
WM armor was initially designed to deal with villains that were modified to be resistant to repulsor technology so it had more conventional warfare weaponry like missiles, guns, etc. and didn’t have other bells and whistles like sonic disruptors, holograms, etc and afaik didn’t have repulsors/unibeams until later on.
Plus Rhodes is a trained soldier and pilot, giving him tactical advantage in combat, compared to Ironman. Ironman’s advantage is that since he made the armor and because of his intelligence, his neural interface with the armor is much superior, making his control of it second nature.
Cheadle and Sam Jackson in the same movie?

Pic of Tony Stark’s Wall of Armor. You can make out the new suit on the far right. Hip armor placement is a little higher, upper torso is shorter and the shoulders look a tad bigger too. Still no War Machine but they’re probably saving that for last.

I hate to respond to a post so far back, but Matthew McDouchebag would be the worst Hawkeye ever, largely because he is the worst actor ever.
He is pretty bad. Hed just walk around with his shirt off being a southern gentleman just like all his other movies.
