I don’t mind them changing the Drill’s input (they kind of have to shuffle around moves due to there being less buttons than MvC2) but what I DON’T get is why the Drill has a different command for the ground and air versions, that’s just silly…
Boulder assist does not OTG.
I recorded a random Tron combo if you’re interested. Seems like you need to stay away from the drills if you want damage. I’m still trying to figure out some resets or something.

the fire assist is her best assist.
its got good hitstun and is fully invincible. Its really good. keeps them grounded and acts as an antiair.

Hopefully it can still act as the minilauncher if their airborn as well. But that’d just be icing on the cake really.

What parts of the assist is “fully invincible”?
I was messing around with reset ideas:

after playing with it for a bit its not fully invincible it is low and rear vulnerable. still godlike basically solves most problems scrubby as hell. by fully invincible i meant if chun is mashing lighning legs in your face and sentinal is sending out drones your assist nullify the drones and will hit both of them ignoring the legs and allow you to combo them. there is a small vulnerable window after it is done i think but its hard to attack.
Supers for the most part seem to beat this assist clean.
My brother was playing Tron a few nights ago and under some circumstances that I can’t recall the specifics of, when he had the opponent in or close to the corner and did King Servbot, he spawned King Servbot on the other side of the opponent AND King Servbot auto-corrected himself to pound on the opponent’s back while Tron hit him in the front. (As in, King Servbot was looking right at Tron, rather than facing the same direction as her.)
Might be something for you guys with training mode to try to replicate, because I’m not sure under what conditions it happens. Do you just have to be balls deep when you summon King Servbot, or do you have to cross under/over the opponent without their character turning around (say, dodging a whiffed poke) before you activate the super?

That looks pretty sweet. So other than Sentinel and Wesker, who else does has an assist that can do that? Tried Felicia at Best Buy and even though she has a low kick it didn’t work.
They are both the same on ground and in the air.
Deadpool and (Maybe) X-23, but if Felicia can’t do it, I doubt X-23 can too.
As far as OTG I don’t think smart bombs work but ill have to try some others. You can combo the gun off pretty much any projectile if you time it right. Stuff that doesn’t knock down like iron mans uni beam or thors mighty spark work well. I even got it off hulks gamma wave after spacing it right.
this is a little random tibit but i figured out you can infinite the opponents assist as long as your don’t let them hit the ground. it’s a bit situational but lets say you hit the opponent and his assist with a j.c, and follow it up with like A>B>C>heavy drill>A>B>C>heavy drill(repeat) and the point character dies and you still have the assist you can keep going with that basic combo till the assist dies. you can probably mix it up with f.B>j.B>j.B>j.C>repeat after the drill.
the only problem is if the opponent has a third character. that character will come out while your still comboing the assist and he’ll probably stop you, but if it’s the last character you can infinite them to death.
Third character won’t come out till you’re done with the assist I don’t think. Could be mistaken but I think that’s how it works.
i think they come out in order. so if you kill character A and your comboing character C, then B will come out. thats what happened to me.
some cool stuff i noticed in training is that ju can combo c.L, f+M~jump cancel, j.M, j.S to hit if u delay the j.M very slightly. im gona try out some nasty combos out of it tomorrow ]
(and I know u can jc and combo after M, f+M, jc,etc etc,…that aint same)
