Might be good with Wesker’s teleport
I think Tron/Hulk/Zero would be a pretty good team. Good DHC possibilities and the assists all cover for each other. Tron with Bonne Strike, Hulk with anti air Gamma Charge, and Zero with Hadangeki. Hadangeki might help make her Bonne Strike safe if it hits during Tron’s recovery. Then you can use that as a tick into command grab.
If Tron’s Flamethrower assist worked as well as Chun Li’s Lightning Legs, that would’ve been great…
I still am curious on the flamethrower assist though. I think I remember Seth saying that it was good.
while i don’t know if everyone is going to have a mini-launcher, i have seen enough to believe that a number of characters, tron included, will have this string: ground combo, mini launcher, jumping AC, j.S, launch (when landed), AC, whatever.
i’m not sure i like this. too much damage makes a bad game.
Scaling is gonna hit a combo like that pretty hard it would seem like.
Real life laughter.
The fact her drill assist leaves them in a low float state, should be pretty solid in this game. Easy combos for beam hypers, gives a bit of time to confirm hits of any assist stragglers, and probably sets up some nice combo chances when used in corners.
Also, I noticed her Controllable sweep move from the last game now seems to multi hit, rather than just knock down. Do we know if it hits full on OTG?
Has anyone tried a combo of 2 Lunch Rush in the corner? Looks like a definite with XFC, but I mean without it, just comboing off the ending air juggle.
I would think (ground combo/attack -> Gustaff Fire -> juggle assist -> capture gun -> jump, air series to E ground bounce -> followups of your pleasure) might also be reasonable now, thanks to the quicker capture.
Also, I forget which video it was (think maybe one of the Sent/Hsien-Ko fight vids), but she was able to air throw -> aerial shovel hit in one of them, to combo. Would think she’d be able to Bonne Strike afterwards, to help follow the opponent, land a few hits, and continue the pressure.
All in all, I think she looks much improved in this game. Less than 10 days remaining!
how would 2 rushes work? she needs to hit the opponent with the gunshot. if she juggles the second shot, half the kobun from the first rush would miss.
Right when the rush ends I guess.
As seen in her intro trailer, around the 35 / 35 second mark the opponent bounces into the air a bit. If it’s possible to hit with the Rush’s initial shot again (through juggles first, or just directly) while in the corner, you might be able to start another Lunch Rush on them.
Even if not, Wolverine goes into a forced backroll after landing from the Rush, so, when in a corner, you might be able to attempt a quick command throw on recovery…
so the idea would be a double OTG? still not giving it a chance. doesn’t mean i’m right, but i’m not giving it a chance at all.
Sorry if I’ve asked this before: Do we know if she has any otg moves yet?
I really feel like she is going to be much stronger as a point character or 2nd spot rather than assist.
Not to say her assist won’t be good but what with her drill into grab and very good corner pressure and not to mention good health so she can soak up a good few hits. Also seeing Thor cancel out of block stun into ex factor really made my day in regards to Tron.
I was a bit disappointed with how much damage her level three did but after seeing Keits drill - level 3 x factor - level three grab and it doing basically all of zeros health I can see why ha ha. I think the pressure she can put on people is going to be really great with a nice assist rather than her doing the same for someone else. Hope I’m wrong and she has sweet assists as well which I’m sure she will.
Can Tron do anything with x factoring out of block stun into her normal grab that has any considerable teeth?? I’m not expecting Thor like 100 percent but what do you think is the most she can get out of her regular command grab, without assist preferabally just to get a sense of her power.
I understand people may have to speculate the answer but still.
She’s a good point character, but before playing her on point, I would much rather make good use of her assists first, then once you bring her in you can start doing crazy things with her drill.
People haven’t really talked about her otg options much. She does have a good relaunch, but as far as otg goes I’m not to sure about that. Maybe her Boulder move when she picks it up?
I’m hoping she can Command Grab > otg boulder > super-cancel (or even drill) before the toss.
Hey I saw on one of the streams, her hovercraft/spinner move hits OTG. I think it’s df+C, the thing where little spikes spin underneath her and she slides.
One her trials is something like (only in corner) command grab, OTG with spinner xx boulder throw, and I forget what comes next but it involves an assist.
ya with assist you can easily combo after df+fp which is good since most of her combo will put your opp in the corner, so its pretty free to df+c + assst + super or whatever, so like l,m xx H-drill, m xx h-drill, m,e,sj.m,m,e, otg df+c + assist xx super or drill or reset…etc
What are her good assists? Are their anything special about any of them.
Drill is good for pressure, does good chip damage and pushes the opponent back.
Bandit Boulder is a projectile, but if used up close, it can hit up to 3 times during the pick-up animation.
Gustaff Fire I’m not too sure about, other than it hits slightly upward.
spinner and boulder arent cancelable. I dont see any way to OTG without an assist after them. Spinner, lightning legs, lunch rush works for instance.
