Season 2 might finish Shadow Jago as well, so that’d be 9 new characters.
Just recently picked up an Xbone with KI, and I only have one question (that I didn’t want to clog up the general with): How likely is it that we will see Riptor in season 2?
I have never followed the KI community. This is the first and only KI game I have ever played, but I do like monster characters in fighting games, and just the idea of a character like Riptor alongside Sabrewulf, Spinal and the like make her the only character I really want in. I just don’t know how popular she is, and how likely it may be that she makes it into season 2.
There’s no logical reason for them to not bring back all the remaining cast. Let’s look at the facts: Keits says he wants to see all of the cast return, and Ken Lobb has been pushing for Riptor since before launch. So it’s very likely we’ll see her in Season 2.
Riptor is Ken’s favorite character so we’ll most likely see her for season 2. Just don’t be surprised if one of the KI2 characters gets left out for Season 3. All of the KI1 cast and both of the KI2 girls sound like they’ll make it for season 2. They already announced one of the new characters is 5 foot 4 and that was Kim Wu’s height in KI2. Can’t wait to play with the nunchuck lady again.
