Ok so far here are the teams
Northbay - Starbase/santa rosa/valejo/fairfield/eureka/ 1 team
Eastbay - Hayward/Fremont/Union city/oakland/concord/alameda/ 1 team
Southbay - Sunnyvale/San jose/santa clara/??? 1 team
Peninsula - Mountainview/san mateo/foster city/daly city/san francisco 1 team
Davis/Sac - 1 team
Wildcard??? - 1 team??
Socal - 1 team

If I could offer a suggestion, I think Vallejo and Fairfield should be included as North Bay since East Bay has so many areas to cover. Also, if you drop wild card and add Santa Cruz and Central Valley and limit East Bay to 1 team, that’ll make for exactly 8 teams, which will make a perfect tourney bracket.
My suggested layout is like this:
North Bay: Marin/Sonoma/Fairfield/Vallejo
East Bay: Hayward/Walnut Creek/Concord/Oakland/Alameda/Fremont/Union City
South Bay: San Jose/Sunnyvale/Santa Clara/Milpitas
San Fran + Peninsula: San Fran/San Mateo/Daly City/Redwood City/Palo Alto
Davis/Sac: Davis/Sac
Santa Cruz
Central Valley: Stockton/Lodi/Modesto/Tracy/Manteca
SoCal
That way there’s a fairer amount of people per qualifier and the main event bracket ends with a perfect 8 teams.

Just outta curiosity, is there a date set for the actual 5v5? (sry if i missed it, but couldn’t find it) I have to go back to SoCal for school in a few weeks but I would really like to make it out to this! Also, let me know if you’d like me to help organize stuff for Sac, I’ll get that qualifier running asap
Already ahead of you! We got Drom’s to agree to host the Davis/Sacramento team qualifiers. We have not set a date for it due to the actual 5on5 date not being set.
This is exactly how it was supposed to be and i’ve talked to Valle and SoCal is sitting this one out…they want us to shine this one out and get unified then they’ll come up for Battle of The BAY 2
Yo i think that the actual 5 on 5 should be a round robin not a standard 8 team tourney. This way every team gets to play every team
PENInSULA people we need a place to hold the quals. If it comes down to it I know I can get a spot at the Half Moon Bay community center but I know most of you do not want to come out here. So was going to see about the san mateo community center. Any other ideas on where to hold our qualifiers?
