iPlayWinner presents BATTLE OF THE BAY - SUPER STREET FIGHTER 4 5v5 Tournament - Fall 2010
This is a tournament concept FilipinoChamp, SIKWIDIT510 and myself have been kicking around for a while now and we are about ready to set it off! We’ll have more updates on when and where very soon but we want to get a discussion started and hammer out some details first!
What is Battle of the Bay?
This is a 5v5 Super Street Fighter 4 Tournament to see who has the strongest region in the bay area. Each region will have their own qualifiers to determine the teams, and the main event will most likely be held at Shadowbrooke Games in Concord though this location could change so stay tuned.
Regions will be split up by counties – unless someone has a better way of dividing up the areas – and you will have to attend your regions qualifier for a chance to be on the team.
The winning team will go home with fight money and also a CHAMPIONSHIP BELT. More details coming soon.
MAIN EVENT
DATE: Sunday – September 19th
TIME: 12PM - 8PM – All teams must be present at 12PM!
LOCATION: Shadowbrooke Games - Concord, CA
FORMAT: ROUND ROBIN
TEAM ENTRY: $75 - 70%: Main Event Pot, 30%: Event & Media Fees
SPECTATORS: $10
PRIZE: WINNING TEAM TAKES ALL - 70% of Qualifier Entry, 70% of Team Entry, Championship Belt & More.

BEEF TAPES
Sounds kinky, I know! What is a BEEF TAPE? Each qualifying team can opt to make a BEEF TAPE which will be a 2 minute promo promoting their team and basically talking shit about the other teams. These BEEF TAPES will be played on the stream and most likely at the main event as well.

Streaming the Qualifiers
It will be up to each region to provide a stream if they choose to of the qualifiers. The iPW crew is available to help stream if need be, so if that is the case contact Haunts (thats me).
Streaming the Main Event
The main event will be streamed by iPlayWinner via USTREAM. Full HD matches will be available after the fact on YouTube and VODs will be available immediately available after the event is concluded via USTREAM.

As you guys can see this is a pretty big event so please voice all questions and concerns in this thread. We would love to have every last detail nailed down but we need feedback from each region and the community as a whole to make this happen so post up and let us know what you think!
