Good stuff to Olli for 2nd in both tourneys and to Blake for going undefeated AGAIN in MVC3. Slops to me for seeding 6th and not being able to win 14 straight in king of the hill. :frowning: CFE took a long time for a 5 person tournament but hey, I got to rush people down with a naked furry and Jackie got to pick a squid in TWO different games in one night. So that’s a win in my book.

Next week’s secondary game is Melty Blood: Actress Again (PS2).

We ran AE instead because no one wanted to play Melty Blood. :stuck_out_tongue: Until after a few casuals, of course…then Jackie just wanted to beat everyone with Neko Arc. Too funny. Good stuff to Bill for going undefeated in round-robin with Arthur/Haggar/Phoenix, and then taking finals with a non-Phoenix team. Slops to me for seeding 7th. And props to Blake for just beating the snot out of everyone with Sakura. I think I got ONE round all five matches we played. Makes me wish this town actually liked SF4. Adam and Corey are pretty beastly, too. Good stuff.

Week 11’s secondary game is…Virtua Tennis 2. Each match will be 1 tiebreak game, and we’ll go 2 out of 3 matches. It’ll go quick enough. If you don’t know the rules of tennis, we’ll explain that day.

Week 12 will be Mystery Tournament format (different game each round) using all the remaining games on the list. So you’ll know the games that will be played…just not which round they’ll be played during. Games are:

  • Soul Calibur 2
  • SF2 AE (no WW characters)
  • Arcana Heart
  • Melty Blood AA
  • Marvel vs Capcom 2 (PS2 or PS3, depending on availability)

  • Dead or Alive 2
  • JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (up in the air, since we have no sticks for DC)
