DBQ Weekly MVC3 tourney #13
1st - MysticBill (X-23/Dante/Wesker, Dante/Wesker/Phoenix)
2nd - Hogosha (Thor/Ryu/Morrigan, Ryu/Storm/Morrigan)
3rd - DTJB (Deadpool/Sentinel/Skrull)
4th - Kintehr (Dante/Shuma/Dorm)
5th - Chevy (Akuma/Shuma/Chun)
6th - Stocks (Dorm/Trish/Dante)
Went undefeated through round-robin with Thor/Ryu/Morrigan only to get 3-0’d by Bill’s Phoenix team in king of the hill. Pulled out Ryu/Storm/Morrigan at the last match to see if I could get anything going and failed pretty hard. Good stuff to James for getting a 3-2 upset over Jackie in king of the hill.

I am bringing my xbox 360, monitor, and two xbox 360 sticks to the tournament Saturday for a casuals only setup.
Fair warning, if you’re playing me in the MVC3 tournament and find it necessary to scream “Happy Birthday!” not once, but twice over the course of the match, you will more than likely take a stick to the face.

I had great fun. Solid play all around. It was good to see everyone. Everyone is getting better and there was someone new too. The scene is getting bigger! Mike and i kinda got in the zone playing each other 80 times after the tournament. I feel like we may have left some other people out of the fun. If you guys want to play us after the tournament, go ahead and ask. I know you all want to get better, Mike and myself are more than willing to help you. Time just flies by when we are playing our matches.
Good luck to you all in Cedar Rapids. I will miss out on that tournament.

Sup guys, I finally have power back (Yeah, that storm from Sunday night messed up M’town pretty bad). Sadly though, thanks to that storm, I’m stuck working Saturday now and won’t be able to make it.
rofl I’ll be back in NW Indiana when that Chicago tournament goes on. It’s only 1 hour - 1 1/2 hours away from where I live o_0. Maaaaybe I’ll go. I dunno tho I gotta move back to Purdue that weekend :(.
I posted this up in the monthly thread, but thought it’d be wise to post it here as well: I have an extra xbox I can bring but I have none of the games we’re playing for it. As a result, I don’t have any save data on it either. I can bring it, but would anyone be able to make use of it?
I’d imagine not since Marvel needs patches and I’m unsure if anyone has a hard copy of AE.
I don’t mind patching it, but someone would have to show up early to do all that shit since I rarely touch xboxs. Tekken for sure not since we’re all ps3 trolls, but I was thinking if anyone who regularly uses an xbox wants to use it for a side tourny or something, we can do that. I mean, I’m fairly certain there’s a couple of people bringing xboxes that use them regularly, so if we can put this extra console to use, might as well.
