While ago my friend introduced me to Toshinobu Kubota’s music. After that I’ve been hooked on his music since I enjoy R&B music and never heard R&B from a Japanese artist prior to Toshi. The other thing I like about Toshi is that he has been around the block. He has something insane like 13 label albums over a span of 3-4 decades, which means I can really enjoy a huge amount of music from him, and the evolution of his musical style over his long career.
