Got a chance to interview Ryan, CJ, Neo and Hiro last Sunday. Interview is mostly about their experiences playing the local Marvel community.
A few interesting points for those who don’t care to watch:\
On how we compare to the rest of the world
-Ryan says we’re on par with the rest of the world outside the US and would bet on us if we ever went up against Japan
On local players:
-CJ says the best player is Carlo. He was pretty impressed with his Deadpool, and compared him favorably to Rattana. For the record, Carlo won a 2 set FT5 money match against CJ (5:3. 5:0).
-Everyone was impressed by MeMe (or that Spiderman player as CJ calls him), especially his Dr. Strange. Their basic impression was, if you’re not doing what he’s doing, then you’re not playing Strange right.
-Myk’s Viper impressed them since he was doing advanced movement with her that none of the US players (including KBeast & Marlin Pie) were doing.
