Your Street Fighter X Tekken ignorant hater impression needs some work…
Speaking of ignorant haters…my friend still continues to bash the game, but I have come to the conclusion that he’s just bashing it because everyone else is bashing it. He stated that no one plays the game anymore…I told him that wasn’t even close to true, there are plenty of people that still play the game. He says “those people don’t exists.”
Then, I ask him straight up why Street Fighter X Tekken is a bad game. He says, and I quote;
“Street Fighter X Tekken is just so random. DP equals half your life gone. The window for teching throws is small so you have to see throws coming in order to deal with them. That’s so dumb! The game is just totally random, the only way to win is by being more random.”
I try to explain how he’s being ignorant, that you can bait DPs and punish them even harder than if they did connect with the DP, the game is not random, it really rewards smart play rather than random play…he then just says “It’s still a terrible game.”
I then boot up the game and tell him to try it, saying that I’m sure if he actually plays the game he’ll like it, and that random play doesn’t work here. He then just says “No, it’s a terrible game. I’m never going to play it.”
It’s hard to be a defender of this game sometimes…but I don’t care. Much like I’ve done with Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and Soul Calibur II…I will continue to play them. I will continue to practice.
I will defend Street Fighter X Tekken until the very end.
HaHa, just found this interview of Daigo at TGS 2012 when I was searching on Youtube for Tokido vs Fuudo exhibition.
I don’t understand moonspeak but he seems to say that he’s playing Super Street Fighter IV, Tekken, Soul Calibur and … Street Fighter x Tekken… Can somebody translate it?
