yeah it launched recently and they’re hoping to get a better catalogue of classic arcade games. I’d love to see stuff like Double Dragon, SF1, maybe even SF2, and more, available there. This stuff is history, and we need to keep it well documented, at least.

Seeing as this has been making the rounds all over the net, I hope this brings down the market for all those people buying $200 cabs, putting a $50 60-in-1 board and then selling them for $1000.
Funny how this topic came up. I saw an article on fb for this 2 days ago. Decided to try it and wow. A shit ton of games for real. I tried playing this obscure Sonic game called Sonic Eraser. It didn’t load. So I tried playing Vectorman instead. It actually worked this time, but it was too slow to play. I think it said it was in its experimental stage so it’s not 100% yet and my comp might be a piece of shit anyway to be running this in a browser. But with this… Like damn most roms could become non-existent in the near future.
That’s weird. I have seen Candy Cabs with a custom Hyperspin dedicated PC with 4TB’s worth of games go for less than that.

my browser detects my controller…page states I need to refresh my browser to use it, I hit reload since refresh isn’t anywhere on chrome…nothing happens.
I see SF2 there but haven’t checked it out.

So, what stops you from geting the actual MAME and play those games there?

There is a thing called redumps if you hate the idea of it(which is stupid to hate it). Then stick to the old ass version of Mame.
Quick answer to why it runs so damn slow, The answer being the majority of the code is JavaScript instead of C++.
I have mame and it was pretty easy for me to get working. But then again I used a torrent for a romset that worked and all the games I want to play work perfectly.

About the ROMs: You need to know where to get the correct ones. Alternately, you can always download an older version of MAME. It’s still better than saying: “Oh, I really hope that Internet Arcade will one day have “Street Fighter”. Let’s hope they include it into their library.” Here’s a little hint: The guys from this program also don’t do anything else but getting the ROMs and starting their MAME derivate with it.

I’ve been enjoying the shit out of the games available, still wish they had some of the better 80s/90s games. But I can hope for the future.
