Lately i have become very interested in reading the hellboy comics. There are just so many, i don’t know where to start. I have the TPB for weird tales. A comic book employee said it was a good place to start, because its just lil stories. all advice is appreciated.
I like weird tales, but you could always just pick up the first volume (Seed of Destruction) and start from there. Be warned that the first volume is probably the most boring story out of all of them. At least in my opinion. But then from there on it gets better.
Yeah, the first volume is probably the weakest compared to everything else, but it’s all good stuff. The Chained Coffin and Other Stories (I think it’s volume 3) is a great introduction, too. That was the first one I ever read.
I haven’t had a chance to delve into the B.P.R.D. books, but I have no doubt they are excellent due to the talent involved.
