So I just got my Fujin v2, gotta say the Fujin v2. is very promising, used it a few hours, and i really like it.
It feels a little like the airbag, allthough there is not much dead zone, reason for this seems that the actuator is very close to the rubber spring.

So where in fact are you purchasing your Fujin v2 levers?
And could you expand more on your statement of Taeyoung peartops not being interchangeable, but Myoungshin peartops are? Are you simply stating the fact that Myoungshin levers come in multiple colors whereas Taeyoung only comes in the one–green? I own multiple Myoungshin Fantas & a Taeyoung Fanta, and have swapped peartops between them and I didn’t encounter problems per se. However this was years & years ago when I first entered the world of K sticks, so I didn’t really have any point of reference.
I’m just in the position where, I’m in a relationship with a Korean women, who helps me with purchasing what i need in Korea. 
The Taeyoung levers are swappable with a Myoungshing lever. But, Taeyoung levers are few millimeters longer then the Myoungshin fanta, so it wouldn’t be a color change but a modification. hence it wouldn’t have the same feel as a normal Taeyoung lever.
Quick note the to the Fujin v2 levers, the guy who makes the levers sold me/Slaycruz the last 3 he had. The manufacture of some of the parts he uses, doesn’t have them in stock atm.
The Fujin v2 is by far one of my favorite levers, along with the Myoungshin fanta airbag. I’m still waiting to get a “Help me” leve, but the guy is crazy slow on sending it… 
while we’re at it, are myoungshin red tops out of production? i can’t find any old stock too,
i dont like crown tops as they break overtime.
Are we talking a 309 or something different entirely?

I’m not sure what version he uses yet. but it is a Crown body.
I guess they are haven’t seen 1 last 3 times i visited Korea.
If you followed what’s going on on Hibal’s page and on ruliweb in general there are 2 “helpme” crown sticks :
307ST “helpme” = 307 (with stock silicone ) + oversized 307 delrin actuator (+1mm diam) + panasonic switches. Nothing else, according to Hibal.
309 appears directly as being a “helpme” mod , unless the testers are making a mistake = 303 style black body+ thicker and sturdier silicone grommet than 307+ oversized 303 actuator in delrin (+1mm) + same switches as 307helpme
Just by looking at the fujin V1 and V2 , I see a lot of positive features but there’s one thing that bothers me a lot: the square restrictor hole cut out directly in the metal plate.
A plastic actuator hitting hard (while dashing or riding the gate in half or quarter circles) against a metal plate edge (even though the edges are slanted, they really do not seem polished and look pretty sharp, look at the pic in the link) , that’s a no in my book.

Too bad, I liked that hybrid crown304 / seimitsu ls32 metal plate idea. they could have gone more ls32 style and add a circle or square restrictor delrin or nylon plate on the fujin metal plate , it would make the actuator last longer and reduce the friction.
V1 seemed to have a delrin actuator.
The shaft on the V2 fujin mod, is it just a sanwa JLF or JLW shaft or is it one of those “conversion” shafts for k-sticks with threaded end? Care to give us the measurement of the shaft (threading size, length of upper portion and diameter? It seems shorter than crown ones on the photos.
Anyways, we see where the ideas for the 309 come from: fujin V1 modded myoungshins have stiffer grommets according to testers on ruliweb (how do you feel with it?) , delrin actuator . Also the myoungshin body and actuator resemble a lot the crown 303 model , which is the base for the helpme 309.
Is it just a coincidence that the 309 is based on 303 with similar upgrades as in fujin V1 except the metal plate of course, but instead of putting the switches closer to the center as in fujin, they oversized the actuator ?
Who’s the guy selling you the “helpme”, is he one of those who made the helpme mods?

Unless it’s Marvel, I personally just prefer K-sticks all around regardless of any fighter or genre of game. And Ive played on A LOT of joysticks. #Pause.
But it usually goes like…
3D style (Tekken, Virtua Fighter, DOA, etc) = K-sticks
2D style (Street Fighter, KOF, Mortal Kombat, etc) = J-sticks
Marvel (Because Marvel) = American Sticks (Happ, Wico, etc)

Sorry guys for the lack of updates.
I’ve been fighting with India Paypal, and apparently, despite every other website in South Korea allowing me to use my alien ID to verify registrations and payment processing, PayPal views it as “against government regulation” for aliens to use their alien ID to attach their Korean bank accounts to their Paypal, thus I am unable to verify my Paypal and withdraw funds to my Bank Account to make the payments.
I’m exploring other options, such as having a trusted Korean friend play middleman through Paypal and wiring me the money to my bank account or something else. If there’s a way I can use my US debit card on ISTMall, I can do that, and have it shipped to me, since the issue is that IST doesn’t ship outside of Korea. I’ll try to figure it out over this week and see what happens.
