Wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute… after reading through that thread that @Deadlywolf linked, my takeaway was was that the photos that are being showed at the top of this thread (page 1) are in fact the ‘Fujin’ levers. Now hear me out… the fact that these ‘Fujin’ levers were mods created by a Korean Tekken player who went by the name "Airbaguy’ suggests that the ‘airbag’ and ‘Fujin’ titles are interchangeable nomenclature given to the same identical lever. It’s also my guess that the photos that @“Missing Person” posted are in fact the ‘airbag/Fujin’ Version 1 of the lever, which indeed look more primitive than that of what we were before referring to as the “Fujin”, which I now believe is the 2nd generation of the Fujin (which was also detailed in the reading). If you’ll take notice, in some photos of the ‘Fujin’, that of the one with the translucent white knob, “Fujin 2” is unmistakably etched into the bottom plate. It’s just that when the microswitches are mounted, the “2” is obstructed. Here’s a photo of the plate, unobstructed:
Note the “Fujin 2” etching.
So I think some of us here (myself included), are trying to get our hands on 2 levers, when in fact… THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE (…sorry I couldn’t help myself). Let’s just hope that the levers that missing person can get his hands on are not the Version 1 of the lever, but instead the Version #2. If the latter is the case, then he can definitely sign me up on that list of his. Because that lever, gentlemen, is my white whale. *CALL ME ISHMAEL *… sorry.
I’m trying to order this one as of now actually, my GF is Korean so makes all of the ordering process easier! there is a company that actually can help you buy things from Korea and ship it to where ever. I’ll post more info, when i know something
yeah if its possible I would like to order the fujin sticks as well. I think thats what I used to play with in Japan as the stick also had the smokey battop that is slightly larger than the standard myoungshin battop.
She doesn’t mind helping out but she doesn’t have Paypal, so you would need to transfer the money to her Korean bank account. The joystick would cost you around $76 with shipping, she will charge you 20 dollars for the fee, if you are still interested, just let me know.
My computer died, and as such, I was pretty much using my phone for everything. I’m about to update my spreadsheet and the OP.
Now that I have a new laptop, I’m also intending to bug Paypal and get them to help me set up my Korean account so I can accept payments from you guys.
