Yeah IAJK is really hard to do if ur not fast enough, thats why i just stick with TK JK lol
Yeah there’s nothing to teach really. Concentrate on doing it precise and fast, watch the input display to see where you fuck up. I’m starting to get it down now. Of course it depends of days, sometimes I just can’t.
Random shit:
While it’s not really necessary in most matchups, it sure is good against fireball chars and…
GUILE!
You need it against guile pretty much. I think guile dominates adon unless the adon can iAJK well. Probably the only matchup where it is vital.
Well there is always my video maybe it might help but it’s doing the TK method idk if it would help
That’s how to tiger knee jaguar kick, you might wanna rename your video friend.
ill keep at it. Thanks for the tip on plinking.
Well I explain simply that it’s the TK method the video so I think I’m ok, plus more people would search IAJK then TKJK so whtever, Ya I’ve Gotten down both TKJK and IAJK so I’m thinking I’m good, but truth I have not played in about 4 or 5 days cause just got mass effect 2 and I’m playing it non-stop
iAJK is great and i’m definitely certain that it’s the faster AJK IF you don’t buffer your QBC for a TKJK. That said, i find TKJK is really only good to use on blockstrings and if you’re doing safe jump, by the time you land, you can technically pull off the TKJK instantly afterward. It takes practice, so i’m not getting that part as often, but i feel it’s best to have both at your disposal if you want to be a complete Adon player, and use the one that’s best for most scenarios (iAJK) when needed, and the one for specific scenarios (TKJK) when needed.
Also, is plinking really making your iAJKs come out lower or is it just to prevent a whiff?
Plinking it helps if you accidentally hit HK while Adon is still to low to the ground to perform a special, which normally results in Adon doing a j. HK. But if you plink it with HK~HP, the j.HK karacancels into AJK a frame later, when Adon is likely high enough to perform a special.
It just makes it more consistant. I’m starting to wonder if j.HK’s first frame changes Adon’s hitbox enough to allow for the JK to come out sooner… But that’s just a kind of hunch and I dont know how I’d test it really…
I think the collision data shows various points on the character. One of them should be for determining Adon’s vertical position.
If we try really hard I’m sure we can figure it out but it’s not important really. Just plink it, it’s better.
I hate to be the one to ask cause its probably been already posted in this thread or in another thread but is there a video of this being performed? I’m having a rough time as a new player visualizing how this is supposed to look by reading it.
yep and it was made by me, well it’s the TK method but it is still a way to do it, and I dont know i might make one on the Normal Version
oh wait sorry your talking about the plinking maybe I’ll do a video on plinking for IAJK or TKJK
Thanks man, either version is fine, I’m just trying to get a first look at what a IAJK is supposed to look like.
oh wait sorry your talking about the plinking maybe I’ll do a video on plinking for IAJK or TKJK
Well then the video might help, fact most of the time I can get IAJK or TKJK without plinking but it’s a good idea
the trick is to kknow how low you can do th air jaguar kick.
and when you figure that out, press kick when you reach the sweet spot.
you can do ex air jag lower than the normal ones.
GODDAMN, IAJK are tough to get consistently!
However, I don’t care if it takes me until Street Fighter vs. Tekken comes out to get this consistently I WILL GET IT!
a dont under stand why you plink a tkjk, is this incase you miss your first chance of the kick input, you have the second one to cover that so if you were wanting to do a tkjk your doing-
d,db,b,uf then plink heavy kick to get hk, mk+hk
cause in a sense this may be easier to get it more consistently, think am gona test this out
what trouble are you having?
