no, trust me. i heard some people were posting true spoilers, like story mode information, which is obviously a no-no. however, they’re pretty much deleting anything that wasn’t technically officially revealed, i.e. stuff we spotted in the s.t.a.r. labs demo.

I’m more concerned about the gameplay but we really won’t have anything concrete until the game drops considering most of the people worth a damn who have played the game can’t say anything specific. Might as well talk about the stuff we DO know about until 4/16

I haven’t been following this thread/game at all…is there any info out that would assuage my fears about dropping $60 on an NRS fighter that may be unplayable online and broken within two weeks? Did the demo make people more confident? Or doubtful?
This is the best we got. If that doesn’t completely calm your fears, and it might not and I wouldn’t blame you (my fears aren’t completely calm either) then I would suggest you don’t buy it day 1.
Honestly, if you haven’t been following it this long I wouldn’t bother doing so anyway and just wait it out.
i must admit, with all the things that went wrong in mortal kombat, i was very afraid of what i might feel like after spending $60 on this game. there’s no way to be sure that online, character balance, bugs, etc. won’t be just as bad in injustice. the only thing we have is some high level payers saying the game is good. though, some of those players are capcom fighters, so i dunno how much weight that’s supposed to hold.
that being said, i just pre-ordered from walmart yesterday. this game just looks so cool. it’s totally possible that they could ruin the game with patches/hotfixes or flake out on us on dlc, but perhaps it won’t be as big a shock if it happens again. if you can manage it, the best thing would probably be to wait a little after it’s been released. stores sometimes have an early sale on the game, and you might be able to grab it for about $40. you’ll also be able to ask people how online is and stuff like that. the players who helped work on the game said there’s a day 1 patch already, so that’s not good. that was the first downfall of mortal kombat. i suggest not downloading it until we know everything it does.
as for the demo, you might as well try it out for yourself. it’s really hard to get any confidence from it without a training mode, but it was fun hitting the opponent into a helicopter.

A friend of mine said Injustice must have 50 pre-orders for them to have a midnight release. This is GameStop BTW. So i would call them in advance just to make sure.
That’s deciding if I even go.
Maybe I should call up the gamestop near me to see if they’re doing a midnight release too. Only problem is it’s a pain in the ass to get there. 30 minute walk to the bus stop and 20 minute ride at LEAST, then gotta turn around and go do it again.
